It took me quite a while to push the buy button but I can tell you that there is no reason to hesitate. You will need a few moments to get used to the controls - and I can really refer to the awesome guide you will find a few pages earlier - but after that you are able to fully enjoy this game! It's outstanding!
Hmmm been looking for a decent RTS that supports retina these last few weeks. Defo worth a look then? There's not a great deal of choice out there to be honest. That post about the dev not having enough money to keep up with the episodes made me really sad. Even if the game isn't the best RTS out there, it's community support that helps forgotten gems resurface to the heights of greatness. See you online

I was playing RC with my friend in school today..I won the match and then upon looking at their iPod, they were still playing. I was thinking..'wait I already won..' but it wasn't until 23 seconds later that my units chased down their last miner. I tried playing again with the friend and it happened again the second time..except, they survived for nearly 2 minutes and almost beat me on their game after I had already won on my iPod. We tried this again later over a different wifi, once again side by side, and the same thing occurred, with about a 40 second delay in outcome. Online mode isn't real time strategy..I find that really hard to believe that it would be this shitty. Other rts online are not like this (warfare inc, armada) so I'm not sure what the hell this is. But yeah, not too happy.
It's a glitch. I've had this happen to me. You must've been really unlucky for it to happen 3 times in a row Don't worry, get happy. =P
I kinda miss green harvester cheese :3 Not that I want it back, but the pure awesomeness of the only unit meant for not fighting being massed and winning the game without any other units is awesome^^ And good to know that John didn't completely stop making Episode 3/4. Let's hope the next update will come soon ;-)

Is it seriously bad that I re evaluated this as my rts of choice recently? Starcraft 2 still crashes my mac after ten mins!
Which hardware do you use? I'm playing on a MBP 2006 and I can only play with everything on "low"... but It's playable backtothis and LeopardGecko, can you play online today?
Did you try disabling the hardware 3D accelerator? In my late 2009 high-end 17" MBP it's useless, even with the fan running at 6000 rpm with the fan controller app - crashes after 5-10 minutes... that is, I can only play SCII with the basic 9400 HW accelerator.
