I was going to say! There are two in-game tracks for Red, the second one comes in I think in level 4 when the action gets serious. Harder challenge mode levels also have the second track. There's a "blue" themed track that comes on after you beat the last campaign level. There will also be more tracks coming out with planned future updates (content expansion) There are natural resource points you can mine by moving harvesters (or your base) near them. Enemies blow up and scatter temporary resource points, too! Good question! That's one thing we were thinking of doing in the future - there will be three (count 'em, 3) more episodes coming out as updates, so they're free to anyone who already bought the game. We were toying around with the idea of increasing by $1 each time or maybe only for episode 3, or something. Who knows... the game might stay at $4, and it might increase when we release our MAJOR content updates. definitely! It pays to build quickly. If you're a slower builder, make sure you have excellent micromanagement skills - if you can create a good defensive line for that initial rush, you can get away with being a slower builder. Anyway, I'm going to bed, so don't expect too many more answers before tomorrow!
Blue Attack was such a phenomenal game that this was an instant buy for me. Both Attack and Defense were quality games, but Attack is one of my favorite iPhone games still. I haven't had a chance to play this yet, but based on the previous games in the series I expect great things. Congrats to the developer on the release.
You guys wouldn't believe how many times I died cause I'm a slow builder The enemy's general strategy is to harrass you with some big armada in the beginning and then retreat then just attack you with a small squad until you either are mad enough to send all of you're units to attack the base and the AI with have a very very big armada waiting for u. So yea.
HavenĀ“t played Blue Attack or Blue Defense yet, but now that the price has been lowered, it was instant buy. And since I was in the mood, bought Red Conquest also.
Interesting game. I will have to get used to the controls. Everything seems to be very solid and thorough. It would be nice to play landscape mode rather than portrait.. I like it EDIT: Actually, you can play in landscape mode... No difference really. I am having a blast. Not sure but is there a skirmish mode? I don't think I see it in there.. Are the challenge maps skirmish? Oh, and how many levels are there in campaign? The introduction and first level were fairly short, but that's how it is in RTS's, especially at the beginning.
Had a quick go at it, excellent art and no slowdowns, really impressive from a technical stand point. Question about the movement - can I only move them using a waypoint marker? I click on the unit, select right option (waypoints) and navigate it in the direction I want. Am I doing this right?
Just in time! I was looking for something to keep me busy on my next trip Seems like this will be it!
Got it, you select the move option and as long as it stays active you can drag any ship on the screen. To exit the option simply tap the lower-right corner. Really loving the UI on this one, I will see later if it manages complex situations, but so fat every option seems really thought-of.
I wake up, first thing I do is check for Red Conquest and YEAH ITS OUT Downloading now!!!!! Cant tell u how amazed I am!!!!
I still would take out the cut scenes... really not cool. The story progression via text is cool as it is right now...
