    I do apologize. For a complete list of all the IAPs/DLCs, your best bet is to review the Agarest Wiki

    http://agarest.wikia.com/wiki/DLC

    as it has complete descriptions of each.

    per the game description, there is no english voice over option.

    @worldcitizen1919

    Thanks for the kind words. Again while we definitely do appreciate all the feeback everyone is giving us. If people could please leave comments on the app store as well we would be very appreciative.

    Can someone help me out here? Is this like Lionheart Tactics (a freemium game) but Agarest War is similar but premium obviously?

    I have never played Lionheart Tactics but if anything, Agarest War has a deeper battle system, if you have at least played Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre then the basic concept is similar.

    My advice for you is to YouTube some videos.

    You referring to the "unlock voices" right next to unlock gallery? I couldn't find a voice over pack.

    Btw, Are a lot of these things in the store items / free gear (aside from the paid stuff) that will be thrown into your inventory on every playthrough? How does it work?

    Played another hour or so and I'm loving it. I'm memorizing battle formations now :) I shall leave an appstore review right now.

    LT is closer to FFT but it does has similarities to this game. I would say the battle / game systems is only slightly more complex but it's way more fun the LT (I only played it for 30 minutes or so).

    If you enjoy RPGs or strategy RPGs in general, I would recommend this game. However like the poster above said, Youtube videos are you best bet.

    I think for what it is, LT is not bad but ultimately it's freemium. You could spend $20 on those games and still come up short. And this game is probably way longer. Read my post on the previous page but this game comes with voices, beautiful art, flashy attack graphics, etc. It excels over LT in almost every way though I'll admit, they aren't exactly the same types of games. Maybe in the same genre?

    Its a terrific game. One question. In battles do I have to touch the start button everytime I fight? Can't the A button act as a confirmation to fight in a future update. The game is brilliant. Sure I'll leave a review on the App Store.

    I agree. I mentioned that in one of my paragraphs earlier. The game would feel much smoother if I didn't need to hit start to initiate attacks. Weird implementation. Also there's an odd pause after your movement phase for 1-2 seconds and I have no idea why.

    I do doubt they'd change the controls but it'd be nice if maybe another button appeared above A that says attack or something. Then you can toggle it on / off.

    I would like to give a shot to a tactical rpg, but I have never played one. What I am afraid of is that this kind of game might be too slow for me. Do you think this game is a good one to start learning the genre? Or is it too complex for a total newbie?

    Hmm.. so you want to play a fast paced Tactical RPG? Generally all Tactical RPGs are rather slow. I actually can't think of a fast strategy RPG that was one of my favorites.

    This game has a pretty good tutorial to teach you so that shouldn't be a problem and there's a lot of battles so you can learn nonetheless these games take some amount of patience. My favorite is Final Fantasy Tactics but speed wise it's probably even slower than this game. Some people complained about long battles in this game but battles in FFT could take anywhere from 10-30 minutes just for a random encounter +/- grinding points. In comparison I guess you could say battles in this game are quicker paced.

    @worldcitizen1919

    unfortunately the A button is used to queue attacks at the point you are discussing.

    The control layout matches the original xbox/ps3 design. also if you are using an iCade or MFI controller since there is no "Start" button i believe it was moved to equivalent of R2.

    If you follow the Souls series of games (Spectral Souls, Blazing Souls) this is the same attack start sequence.

    I am not to sure if this is typical Japanese game design or not. (I.E. to have a another button to press rather then scroll to a menu item marked "attack") however as i mentioned before it is the same in the Souls series of games and AFAIK the same in the other 2 Agarest games (Zero and 2)

    We discussed having an "Attack" button on screen instead of a start button however for users that are used to controllers or the xbox/ps3 version we decided not to change it :/ i do apologize.

    @miroa

    the game has a very large (30 page) in game manual, also a tutorial as you progress through the game will pop up. (ex. "do you want to learn how to attack", "Yes", "No")

    i feel it is more newbie friendly then FF Tactics or Disgaea however i may be biased ^_^

    Not really fast-paced is that I read FF Tactics was really slow, and strangely I have never liked the FF series, except FF VII (yeah go figure). I know that this genre has a learning curve, so I am not afraid of learning. I simply don't want to throw myself in a game designed for hardcore gamers, even if it has a good tutorial.

    14.99$ is a certain investment, so...

    @HyperDev A little bit biased ;-), but that's totally understandable. Thank you for your answer. It is good to know about the manual. I will surely take into account.

    I spent $18.98 on this game, not saying just because I spent more it means the game is superior; it does have its learning curve but the tutorial and manual will guide you along just fine. It is slow b/c you need to plan out your strategy and all that stuff, there is no fast paced SRPG as far as I know.

    I have to say Idea Factory usually doesn't strike my fancy but right now to me ROAW is one of their best looking game with decent learning curve, loads of content and now the game is mobile and in the palm of your hand, doesn't get any better than that! :D

    Looks like FFT!

    It seems that thanks to everyone here as well as across the world, Agarest has been able to enter the best 30 in the RPG genre on the iTunes store.

    We really want to thank everyone

    You know what to give us in the future? More RPGs/games, would like to see something more different if possible?
