Big Cup cricket As a hater of cricket- looking the most dull sport on Tv I surprisingly liked this game. By playing it I can see some of the appeal of the sport, and that's credit to the game. The game is polished, and has an appealing slightly cartoonish style. My neg to the game is I'm not actually sure how hardcore cricket fans would find this since it doesn't perhaps have the usual depth of other cricket titles. Eg a bowled ball towards you- in this you can pretty much bat anywhere according to your swipe. That's not the standard outsmart the batter type game. Anyway concerns aside, I give a 3/5. The game is like a combination of a platformer, and a sort of vertical ascending dungeon game. The aim is getting past each vertical floor and then going onto the next. With a boss on the final one. To get past a vertical level the game varies the way you play the character(thief lupin) - for instance- you'll be able to jump some levels, or only be able to run, or you'll stealth.(all using one simple control of tapping) And each you have to balance timing to get past the obstacles, and enemies of a level. I liked the game, it doesn't appear finished as there are levels on the map saying 'under construction'. That being said there are ample sort of levels to play. The neg to this game is can get repetitive, and with frustrating levels(floors) at times. (you can actually skip them though). And the game has this area where one mistake- you can't play that area for 30mins- which I think is an awful idea. You don't have to do this area but for a game to not allow a part of it's content for a duration in a repeat-till-you-perfect-the-timing game it is a little lame. It's just sheer intuitive controls: drag left or right, swipe up to bowl. The speed of the swipe dictates speed of the ball, and you have left/right arrows as the ball is bowling to add spin. Big Cup cricket As a hater of cricket- looking the most dull sport on Tv I surprisingly liked this game. By playing it I can see some of the appeal of the sport, and that's credit to the game. The game is polished, and has an appealing slightly cartoonish style. My neg to the game is I'm not actually sure how hardcore cricket fans would find this since it doesn't perhaps have the usual depth of other cricket titles. Eg a bowled ball towards you- in this you can pretty much bat anywhere according to your swipe. That's not the standard outsmart the batter type game. Anyway concerns aside, I give a 3/5. The game is like a combination of a platformer, and a sort of vertical ascending dungeon game. The aim is getting past each vertical floor and then going onto the next. With a boss on the final one. To get past a vertical level the game varies the way you play the character(thief lupin) - for instance- you'll be able to jump some levels, or only be able to run, or you'll stealth.(all using one simple control of tapping) And each you have to balance timing to get past the obstacles, and enemies of a level. I liked the game, it doesn't appear finished as there are levels on the map saying 'under construction'. That being said there are ample sort of levels to play. The neg to this game is can get repetitive, and with frustrating levels(floors) at times. (you can actually skip them though). Big Cup cricket As a hater of cricket- looking the most dull sport on Tv I surprisingly liked this game. By playing it I can see some of the appeal of the sport, and that's credit to the game. The game is polished, and has an appealing slightly cartoonish style. My neg to the game is I'm not actually sure how hardcore cricket fans would find this since it doesn't perhaps have the usual depth of other cricket titles. Eg a bowled ball towards you- in this you can pretty much bat anywhere according to your swipe. That's not the standard outsmart the batter type game. Anyway concerns aside, I give a 3/5. The game is like a combination of a platformer, and a sort of vertical ascending dungeon game. The aim is getting past each vertical floor and then going onto the next. With a boss on the final one. To get past a vertical level the game varies the way you play the character(thief lupin) - for instance- you'll be able to jump some levels, or only be able to run, or you'll stealth.(all using one simple control of tapping) And each you have to balance timing to get past the obstacles, and enemies of a level. I liked the game, it doesn't appear finished as there are levels on the map saying 'under construction'. That being said there are ample sort of levels to play. The neg to this game is can get repetitive, and with frustrating levels(floors) at times. (you can actually skip them though). And the game has this area where one mistake- you can't play that area for 30mins- which I think is an awful idea. You don't have to do this area but for a game to not allow a part of it's content for a duration in a repeat-till-you-perfect-the-timing game it is a little lame. It's just sheer intuitive controls: drag left or right, swipe up to bowl. The speed of the swipe dictates speed of the ball, and you have left/right arrows as the ball is bowling to add spin. The game is like a combination of a platformer, and a sort of vertical ascending dungeon game. The aim is getting past each vertical floor and then going onto the next. With a boss on the final one. To get past a vertical level the game varies the way you play the character(thief lupin) - for instance- you'll be able to jump some levels, or only be able to run, or you'll stealth.(all using one simple control of tapping) And each you have to balance timing to get past the obstacles, and enemies of a level. I liked the game, it doesn't appear finished as there are levels on the map saying 'under construction'. That being said there are ample sort of levels to play. The neg to this game is can get repetitive, and with frustrating levels(floors) at times. (you can actually skip them though). And the game has this area where one mistake- you can't play that area for 30mins- which I think is an awful idea. ^ good mentions. Big Cup cricket As a hater of cricket- looking the most dull sport on Tv I surprisingly liked this game. By playing it I can see some of the appeal of the sport, and that's credit to the game. The game is polished, and has an appealing slightly cartoonish style. My neg to the game is I'm not actually sure how hardcore cricket fans would find this since it doesn't perhaps have the usual depth of other cricket titles. Eg a bowled ball towards you- in this you can pretty much bat anywhere according to your swipe. That's not the standard outsmart the batter type game. Anyway concerns aside, I give a 3/5. Worth a look being a quality title.
