Yeah, music like Stand Up by Prodigy, Spiraling by Keane, stuff that really makes you want to dance. :)

He wants something upbeat and feel-good. They fit that perfectly. Also, they're awesome.

For some reason my ultimate feel good album has been The Clash's London Calling for about the last decade. Anytime I feel down I put that on and pretty soon things don't look so bad. It's not a very uplifting album lyrically, but it's so catchy and danceable that I can't help but feel better listening to it.

Vampire Weekend has a similar effect on me.

Agreed on both. The Pixies Surfer Rosa works pretty much the same way for me.

Yes, although my personal favorite from them is Doolittle, although it could be because that was the first album I had of theirs and lived and breathed it for about a year after I bought it.

Oh, if the OP wants more electronic type stuff, just get something from DFA Records, like The Juan Maclean, LCD Soundsystem, Pixeltan or The Rapture.

!!! and Out Hud are good too.

If you want hard techno, or some jungle I've always liked Dieselboy.
