I've recently discovered some great remixed versions of classics, such as Smooth Criminal, We Will Rock You, even a couple from the Beatles. I was wondering if you guys have your own collection of remixed songs and if you could recommend me some of the "hidden gems".
    thanks in adv :D

Do you mean remixes or covers? Because there is a big difference between the two.

Yeah my suggestions were covers not remixes. I don't really listen to anything that needs to be remixed.

well, i meant remixes, but I'll check out any of both categories which are worth doing so.

MiChi - You (Version 3.1) -- I like this way better than the original. It's brilliant.
Alphabeat - Fascination (Bimbo Jones Remix) -- not necessarily better but very different from the original.

House Rulez - High School Disco (Day)
House Rulez - High School Disco (Night)
It's hard to say which of these is the remix, since they both appear on the album. The "day" version comes first, however.

immi - Alice -- both versions are equally good
Gregory and the Hawk - Fin Song 8 (Orange River Remix) -- this could be called the original, since the non-remixed version has never actually been released. it's very different from her usual work, which is mostly acoustic without electronic elements.
The Hair Kid - Wonder Girls - You’re Out (Live PA Remix) -- remix of a kpop song
Air - Don't Be Light (Neptunes Remix) -- original
Ami Suzuki - Potential Breakup Song - cover of the Aly & AJ song, with Aly & AJ doing the refrain.
Ami Suzuki - The Weekend (feat. Captain Funk) -- This is a collab with Captain Funk, but I'm not sure if it's a cover since Captain Funk's material is very difficult to get in the U.S. Some of the songs on the album are covers, so...
Clazziquai - After Love (female version) -- original
MEG - Love Letter (Ajapai Remix) -- much better than the sparkly, kind of boring original.

Reckoner - Radiohead (Nosaj Thing Rmx)

And no I don't concern myself with the definitions of remix, cover, mashup ect. because it makes my balls shrink arguing mundane things like that.
