Yeah, but even when it was around, it never got any attention. And still, it does deserve credit as being one of the first, if not the first, to nail turn based combat on the iPhone. It's one of the few games I've been able to enjoy fully on my 3rd and 4th playthroughs (the 4th I'll be going through soon... Gotta play it again).
1. Trainyard; Beautiful puzzle game, graphics and sound are subtle yet effective within a great concept. Plus this game can put up a real challenge compared to the more simplistic games that flood the store, I've spent days stuck on certain stages; I love it. 2. Gravity Runner; Great classic styled 'one more go' quickest time platformer, god knows how many retries I've ran on this game. The ability to flip gravity is a great and unique twist to the gameplay and allows for more than just your average run through each stage. If only it were to be updated with online Game Center racing... 3. Flick Kick Football (PikPok); Spent too much time on this, probably not getting as much love because this a mostly a Northern American community where 'soccer' is the 3rd or 4th sport and at the same time can be quite samey to the others in the flick kick series, doesn't stop it from draining my time.
That's 7. But I'd definitely agree that Bruce Lee doesn't get enough attention. I actually liked it more than Street Fighter IV, to be honest.
Flight of the hamster (my most played game to date) FF Crystal Defenders (a couple of fans around here, but not much love at all. I think it's still the best TD on the AppStore) The impossible game (fantastic game, just doesn't seem very popular for how awesome it is!)
Didn't realize he only wanted 3. Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior is an awesome game. It seems simple on the surface, but the gameplay is quite deep. It sort of reminds me of Virtua Fighter or Tekken.
Exactly. When I first started playing Virtua Fighter, I had no problem getting into it since I could easily find a few combos I liked and basically used them. Then, once I started playing it almost obsessively (which I did for one summer), I started learning more advanced combos and it took the game to a whole new level. That's exactly what's going on in Bruce Lee, once you get a hang of it.
Theres not many un popular games i like to take risks on unless they look good! so not sure my favourite games dont get love on TA.. I havent seen a discussion on crash kart 2 though, i looove it
Actually coming to think of it.. Chaos rings is a favourite at the moment as i'm really getting in to it. But i can't find a thread anywhere!
