Multiplayer was always mentioned as being included yes - and that included cross-platform play so you could race against people on Android powered devices. Regarding price, no-one knows but I bet it'll be (US) $9.99.
As others have already mentioned... that was posted awhile ago and before the EA publishing change which is a bigger publisher which more than likely wants a bigger piece of the pie which will probably cause the price to be higher that what was stated so long ago.
Well, that was the price when their game wasn't being published by EA. But now because their game will get more purchases because of EA's name, the price may be higher.
Who's mum? Not me mum!!! Seriously though, whether or not if that's what they say the price "could" be, things can change...

Can't wait for this game to come out - I loved Hot Wheels and slot cars when I was a kid, and this will bring back a lot of great memories. I've got a prime spot on my home page ready for this one !
Wow. EA has the graphics and probably most of the gameplay done for them. Hopefully they will polish it up and send it out soon!
