This is great news - I can't wait to play this on the iPad. Pixelbite kept telling me that the game was alive, and I'm glad to see that it will be even better than we thought. I'll be picking this up on day one for sure. Any word at all on how much this will be? Since EA might now be involved, it may be more pricy than it would've been otherwise, but the screen shots make me think it will definitely be worth the asking price
that kotaku article says its coming for both iphone and ipad remember it was developed for the iphone/itouch first and is being ported over to the ipad...

So I guess when they said it had passed into QA they mean EA. Good news though, those new screenshots are indeed incredible.

HAHA called it! Who knew I would be right about the most important thing ever *wipes tear* Mainly because this exact thing happened to Daredevil Dave. Except the contests kept everyone entertained.
The buttons look a bit too simple. The style doesn't match the rest of the game's polish. Otherwise looks great! I hate EA. They are notorious for bad game support. Hopefully the updates which surely be required after user feedback will not take months to implement. I know I sound negative, but EA has to be the worst games company.
I'm calling it now: Reckless Racing for iPad... never coming out for iPhone Mirror's Edge never coming out for iPhone, either.
