By any chance will we be able to race people with the game on Android as well as on the iPhone over Wifi? That would be a great way to expand the online community and keep it thriving, plus if you've got friends/family with android phones. Something to consider, anyway. The game looks fantastic in the video. I'm really looking forward to it!
Hi guys! It's amazing to read all the positive reactions to our game! It also makes us all work a little harder to make sure everyone of you will enjoy playing it soon. And regarding performance and graphics, there's no need to worry. Everything you've seen so far is running very smoothly on an iPod Touch 2G. And cross-platform multiplayer is also supported, so you can race with your Android friends if you like.
Any chance of getting to drive the car from Dukes of Hazzard? It just seems so perfect with the theme. EDIT: Ah, I see that the inspiration was the General Lee. Sweet. That was my first thought when I saw the car/video.
deliverance The graphics on this look incredible! looks like you have old muscle car, a humvee, pickup, dune buggy and tractor trailer. Here is what would make this a killer app. 1st either add new vehicles like sports cars, other types of cars and trucks, jeeps and make it so you could customize the colors for multiplayer. Even if you add new cars via in app purchases. 2nd different types of tracks. on and off road. Still looks awesome !!!!
Quick question: Is the title pronounced 'Delivery Ace'? Or Something else? Just wondering. Looks amazing, that Ignition game (someone posted about it a few pages back) looks a little bogged down, and this steps it up!
The visuals do look absolutely fantastic. Like really really fantastic (great art too). I'm not sure about the music and the controls though. Anyway, this project seems really promising
Game def looks AWESOME. Esp for us retro gamers. Reminds me of Arcade game OFF ROAD and SUPER SPRINT.
This game just has a perfect gameplay mechanic that would adapt to racing virtually any type of vehicle. Quads anyone?
Well as an old school gamer, I can't thank you enough, I thought this genre was dead. I must have played dozens of top down racing games in my youth. from Ironman Offroad, to The original Grand theft auto. with death rally, Ignition, Rock and Roll racing, Big red racing, micro-machines, etc, in between. as you probably know the most important aspect of this type of game is how responsive the controls are. so here is hoping you'll make sure thats one thing that works flawlessly, tilt controls are not my cup of tea either. so I'm glad you are including some kind of analog touch pad mechanic.
Yeah, adding motorcycles (i.e - dirt bikes) would be great. Or even those speedway bikes that drift round the corners.
