Yes, look two pages back. Frankly i don't want to write a paragraph about MMR when this is about Reckless Racing 2, but someone already compared it about two or three pages back.
Controls are the best I've seen on an iOS arcade racer. a lot of it comes down to how you custimze your car. i just got to a race and had to turn down my speed and acceleration because I was going all over the place. I actually took two cars out with me on the first leg of the race. It was awesome! Oh yeah, i never brake which is most of the reason why I had to adjust the car's stats. I'm using the tank controls (arrow on right side, arrow on left side) and it works amazingly. I also used the buttons and they work nicely too. The wheel is too realistic for comfort in RR2. I loved the MMR wheel (actually 1 of the few things I liked about MMR), but it doesn't translate the same over into RR2. However, the alternate control options have made me feel right at home. There's a ton of content. Career Mode has 12 cups, and each cup has 3-7 tracks in it. There's also an arcade mode that'll have you drifting all over the place. There's single event which has race, hot lap, and elimination. Lastly, there's multiplayer. There's a ton of customization and each truly feels like it has taken an effect on the way your car drives. There's also a ton of options to help you out in the game, so you can tailor it to how you play.
I think it's great. It's everything I hope for. Dumped the redneck them, replaced it with legit, real, faster cars, and some street which I thought was cool.. Your problem is you want a sequel equal... It's not really a sequel. It's a while other game.. It's a better game. I love it. Once I got to that little Mazda or whatever I couldn't put it down. It's pretty unstable though, crashes a lot. :\
I've only had 1 crash and that was after receiving 3 push notifications st once during a race. It's been pretty stable for me. Just wanted to let people know about the other end of the spectrum. -iPod touch 4g iOS 5.0.1 I wouldn't say it's a whole 'nother game but an overhauled version of the first. There's still a ton of recklessness to be had in this game, but without the ridiculous theme that killjoy mentioned.
No problemo! This is by far the best arcade racer. Reckless Racing 2 by far... ... ... Death Rally Smash Cops Streetbike MMR (after the many updates) **RR2 is actually one of the best games you can get on iOS at the moment, IMHO.
I agree with everything u just said lol But I have a iPod touch 4g ios5 too, and it's always crashing... I have to be really careful and take precautions to give it a chance... God forbid I open multitask to skip a music track.. Actually, god forbid I listen to music. It makes it lag like shit. I restart the iPod, kill every other app, start the app... Crash.
I also agree that this game is really terrific. Its very well done and appreciated. There is one thing: The menu that shows the Resume/Restart/Options/Edit buttons. Anyone think the buttons need to be a little farther apart? I'm constantly pushing both at the same time or the wrong one. Also my current car is too powerful for an event and if I remove some of my upgrades to qualify will I get these back or will I have to re-purchase them again? (sorry if been asked) Thanks!
From what I can tell by playing around, it does look like you can turn modifications you have bought on and off by clicking on them - and they stay purchased.

I hate how on the hardest difficulty the game just blatantly lies to you. More often than not in the later races of a cup, "Frank" (my number one) has P.I. scores a little more than the maximum allowed. E.g. Right now I'm replaying a race where the max is 375, and he was at 378. If I was allowed 378 I could make my car a lot faster than his, but as it stands I win anyway. Also, I love making him lose. Just before, I ended up coming second just to make him come last.
Best racers: 1. MMR 2. Death Rally 3. RG 4. RR1 ..... ..... 9. Dirt 10.Sand 11.Mud 12.Trash ....... 101.RR2 Fanboy!
Just stop. You obviously come from two different opinions and don't like the same sub-genres of racing. To each their own. Personally, I rather like the game, as this is the first game (that I've noticed, anyway) where the difference between letting go of the gas and tapping the brakes is actually accentuated. Add to that that I have to tweak my car to each race (more or less) to beat the unfair odds, and it's a pretty competent racer in my opinion.
The game is very fun, and there is a lot of challenge to win. The learning curve is very important. The two different types of race are excellent. Just a proposition : when you resume a game, would it be possible to add a counter before resuming the race (3,2,1 for example) ? Because if you resume in a bend now, you don't have the time to put your fingers in the screen and it is always the crash ==> you have to restart the game because you paused the game.
This game is amazing. Definitely my favorite of the week. I have enjoyed all of polarbits racers. I hope for a raging thunder 3 someday!
The 'Around the hill' cup (not sure of the name) was quite difficult to beat. It's the one that's basically a rally event. The best AI driver pretty much drove flawlessly all the time. Which control option do you guys use? The only one I can use is the default but it's not that good. I wish the half-wheel option was like in MMR. The way it's in this game you can't keep your finger on the wheel all the time as it only resets to center when the finger is lifted.
Good idea. I think you can resume by tapping anywhere on the screen as well, might help a little. We are looking into the issues with achievements, should hopefully be fixed soon.
Speaking of which, did you happen to receive my e-mail, a request for a password reset (since I still cannot, for some reason, log into the leaderboard account you re-activated)?
