Well, I don't understand y I can't download it with 250mb of free space? Am I also downloading the iaps as well? I downloaded this other app that suppose to tell me how much free space I have and it says .4 gb so I dont know wth to believe....
You're funny. I've got them both installed on my Android tablet (bought RR 2 twice now) and if I modify the starting car in the sequel in the way I just described - which I can do after about five minutes' play - it goes faster and drifts more wildly than any car in the first game on advanced handling. But I'm sure you'll be happy to tell me how I must be going blind.
Applies to games as well! You usually need a minimum of double the space requirement but it can be tripled or more. Here's another quote to help you understand: These helped me out!
One do begin to wonder why he sticks around in the thread, what with his great dislike of the game, and having expressed the same criticism several times over
No prob I forgot to mention that if you have a computer, it will put it on your device without you having to delete anything else.
You're correct. If you wanna drift, max out everything apart from the handling. Depending on the type of car, you might need to up or tweak the cars handling to get it working the way you like. Remember to turn the handling back to full if you're doing regular races and are driving on gravel.
New to the series; what is P.I. Please? Also, about how often are you buying cars? I'm on the swoop cup with the original rod, with quite a few upgrades; pi of 296. Can anyone please recommend car upgrade strategy?
I believe I can almost discern a trend in the voices of dissent and praise: those who stick with the game and play for an hours (or even less) express the sentiment that cars can be customized to handle damn near exactly like in RR1, and consequently end up liking the game, or enjoyed it from the outset (either for the similarities to RR1, if they choose to play that way, or for RR2's own qualities), while those who quickly grow disappointed and put the game down and away mostly cite the differences to RR1 as the reason, without seeming to have tried to customize their cars in the manner suggested. Having already played the game, I am definitively biased, but even the untouched, unspoiled, virgin neutral and objective parts that remain of my cognition tells me the former argument carries far more weight
Well, I'd suggest if you want to drift get the other two stats higher than the handling, not necessarily max-max-min. I find maximum drift very, very hard to control, and the AI cars never swing round corners that wide. Or, I dunno, if you enjoy the challenge, go for it. With dynamic difficulty it's certainly not the hardest game around. Oh, and I'm seven cups in (five golds, one silver, one bronze) and only using my second car (both currently with all the upgrades, and swapping some in and out to raise or lower PI as required). It's looking more and more likely that buying extra funds through IAPs is completely optional, unless the final tracks really ramp up the difficulty or something,
Just wanted to update this if anyone else was having this problem...re-booting the iPad fixed it.....I've never seen a re-boot work when you're having a isolated problem in a app before (usually only for crashes on launch will a re-boot fix it)...but for some reason it's fixed !
I'll be uploading a video when i get my new camera next week. Although i enjoy the career mode, i mainly use it to buy new cars and tune them for drifting. My brother is a real life drifter and very skilled when it comes to the technical aspect of cars and he loved RR2 Most of my time spent have mostly been playing in "time attack" just drifting around the various tracks without having to worry about other cars.
Downloaded the game last night. Went into Arcade mode, and hated it. It seemed all wrong. Far too light and loose handling, cars too twitchy, having to take your finger off the gas far too soon before corners etc.. The I went into Career mode. By the time I had won the first cup and modded my car, it felt like I was playing a different game. Now I have speed and drifting, and it feels awesome.
"master of the arcade!" achievement is bugged! Just finished all 40 arcade races, all with gold medals but the achievement didn't unlock!
Hey! Just a quick question. Does buying credits affect the leaderboards? Just saw two new people go to the very top out of nowhere. #1 has 10 million which is obviously fake and #2 has 900 thousand which isn't impossible. anyways, does buying credits affect the Leaderboards?
"Republic credits? Republic credits are no good out here. I need something more real." lmao...they're probably hackers. See it all the time...
I dont have anything else [waves hand] but credits will do fine. Would love to chat more about this, but #6 in the leaderboards is trying to take my #5 spot.
