Another $.99 tank game has come out. It has slick graphics and looks promising. [app]!Rebolt![/app]
Wow! Thank you I was really looking forward to it!
Anyone tried this yet?
Not bad at all
Nice graphics and powerups. Controls ok and fun to play. For a buck it's worth it.
i guess im going to grab it later and give it a try.
It's alright; the acceloreter controls and aiming are a bit difficult though especially in close combat.
Is there multiplayer
Im goin to do a comparison here between this and crazy tanks since they are very similar games:
Story and amount of levels:
Hope this helps
oh man this looks kinda fun
the graphics look sharp, except for the robot/tank themselves.. they look cell shaded or something
Aren't cell shaded graphic nice? I personally like it.
Yeah when they're well done... i wasn't sure how to describe these graphics... check it out
like what is the green thing on the right? Tentacle bot? yikes!
it looks awesome, unfortunately in my 10 minutes of play i found the controls to be akward. You're constantly being chased by robots, so it really only makes sense to have guns that point behind you.
Also it locked up a few times.... update?
Thank you for your insight. I'll save for another game. I don't like this kind of gameplay approach. And you're right: the gun should point behind you or, at least, a lock target so you can enjoy a bit more.
I mean, it was worth the 99 cents, but it would be lot better if the load time was less and the controls were more like CT. Well worth the 99 cents though
I'm guessing that that is because the robots are moving. And have to have a lower polygon count for the older devices *grins that I have an iPod Touch 2G* . I might get it, but I just bought Rolly and Marble maze ultra. I might have to wait a bit.
Ha! ha! I love their tag line:
0110 out of 0110 robots agree....
Yeah the environment graphics are top-notch. I love the textures they used!
Flashbang Studios is also responsible for the "Minotaur China Shop" web game. Hopefully they'll port it to the App Store.
!rebolt! any good?
How is !Reboot!, anyone played it yet
What is with people today posting like three different topics about the same game. Well those topics should help you out.
So I got it today and played around for a bit. It's a nice game, and the shooting seems pretty auto aim. Anyway, it's not bad, and worth $1.
