Should run fine on the 6s+. The main issue seems to be memory requirements. But 6s+ has 2Gb so meets the minimum requirements.

Exactly. The game requires at least 2GB of RAM, so it won't run on devices offering just 1 gig.

I'm super interested in this genre but has anyone bought this? What's your impression of this game? Heard this is fun strategy but it's linear?

Reviews on steam is mixed, so I'm on the fence as no reviews for iOS version yet.

 

Well, why don't you try the test version from Steam? The iOS Version is complete the same, just with a good working touch UI ... I have both versions and I like this game ...

 

Speaking as a paradox almost-fanboy, the game is like Hearts of Iron 4 light, same alliance driven gameplay, but different fighting mechanics than most paradox games, worth checking out for having something like this on the go, it lends itself very well to phone play too, as long as you don't have to read most of the pop ups on a small screen for the first time. After you've seen them once or twice, it's not bad, but I played it on the PC first so the smaller phone screen UI wasn't a problem.

This looks like my kind of game, but it looks a little painful with all the fiddley details without a mouse and a big screen. I'd love to hear someone's experience with it on an iPad. Especially a iPad pro.

 

In my personal opinion the game plays well on Ipad. Nothing seems unrealistically small or clustered, the UI seems well organized given the smaller size. I say give it a buy, even more so given the 30% discount. ^^

I have both versions, PC and iOS. The iOS version is well made for iPad screens. On my iPad Pro 12,9" 2 Gen it runs great. In my opinion a strong "buy" if you like a deep and complex simulation game.

 

Now the game is much cheaper for a limited time, so I guess it's a very good moment to check it out .
