A week ago, we announced the successful free campaign that we have conducted for The Idiot Test 3. Over 500,000 copies of the game was downloaded from the App Store, within a brief two weeks period of the campaign the game. This week’s report put that total to an astonishing 660,000 copies. It is definitely a new milestone for our independent studio but it is time for a reality check. Our bills are still coming in and we do need to raise fund for our upcoming products. Patch v1.1.0 for The Idiot Test appear to have held back by the App Store team for further review (no idea why). I guess we can't be waiting that long before changing the app back to $0.99. Furthermore Apple’s recent announcement that allow free app to integrate in-app purchase render our campaign useless and it is not feasible for us to compete with the storm of developers that are rushing to enjoy this new feature. We are sad to announce that we will have to end our free campaign prematurely (on the release of patch 1.1.0) for the above reasons and return to a normal $0.99. We truly appreciate everyone who have downloaded The Idiot Test 3 and made it the Top Free App in Canada, United Kingdom & Australia.
