Real Soccer (Football) - $0.99 Sale. Lite is out

Alright I got it but won't have time to play until my 4 hour bus ride tomorrow

 

Nah when I really want a good soccer game I'll stick with xbox. For iphone I'll take fun for a soccer game anyday. I'd love to see Sega Soccer Slam 3 on 3 for instance on iphone. Cheat game is more X2. My opinion of course to. Then again if you buy X2 for $7 and not this for $1 more power to ya.

 

I think it will keep you busy for most of those 4 hours.

 

If you can't swing the cost of X2, this is the best you're going to get. Good game.

 

So I couldn't resist and tried it out. I'm extremely impressed. So many teams and little intricacies like "spin moves" and "passbacks" (obviously I'm not a soccer player lol). I can't wait to start a career mode tomorrow. I just wish that they used the touch anywhere controls.

 

That and more than a 8 point or so joystick. It makes the game so much harder and less fun.

 

Hey guys, I can't decide whether I should get this game or not.

I already have X2 Football 2009, but I'm wanting to get this game for the league clubs and WiFi Multiplayer.

Yes, I know, it's only $1, but I'm also planning to get Real Racing, which is expensive, so I don't want to spend any extra money on games that aren't worth the money.

So should I get this or not?

No.
If you already have X2, you'd better wait for Fifa 10. Real Football sucks, the gameplay just sucks. X2 surely doesn't have much content and I doubt it's worth 7 times the price of Real Football, but at least the gameplay is there despite tons of glitches.

I just bought this game last night and I meant to immediately go to English as the language but accidentally clicked on another language and know it's in Chinese and can't seem to find a way to get back to English. Can somone please tell me the steps to get back to English so I can read everything in English. Thanks

 

Delete it from your iPod/iPhone and re-download it. You can do it from your iPod/iPhone.

 

Okay I did try to do as you suggested (deleted off my IPOD) and tried to download again but it says 99 cents does that mean if I download it again I will be charged 99 cents? Still do not know how things work in relation to doing something like this.

 

no you will not be changed again, just make sure your on the same account you bought the game originally on

Thanks for the comment Albie, I was worried there was something inherently wrong that would ruin the experience, but for 99 cents I can tolerate an unperect AI. Besies, for me having real names and many more teams makes a huge difference. Just because of that I might choose this over X2 even if they were the same price.

EDIT: So I finally bought this one and, it is bloody brilliant! I guarantee this is the best 99 cent soccer game you can buy in ANY system. Sure it has problems, but it is really fun. It reminds me of the soccer games I used to play right before the PS2 came out and that's not a bad thing. Seriously for the price you get sooo much, besides there is a new update and hope that has useful improvements.

Bad idea imo. Everyone will get to see for themsleves how horrible the controls are, so no one will download it
