Real Soccer (Football) - $0.99 Sale. Lite is out

I'm only waiting for BIA... Business is going to be tougher for indie/ small developer. Gameloft sure make lots of money with this discount frenzy.

 

Yes! Real Tennis is the one I am waiting for... i have forced my self for 1 week now not to buy, eventually I am gonna give in with wimbledon on tv! ahhh

I'm not sure about all the bashing either, but the AI can be kind of questionable sometimes. In the heat of a game, the other players on your team can run around like headless chickens. Overall, though the game is fine. It does have things that X2 doesn't have:

More teams (licensed as well)
Ability to choose stadiums

I'm sure others will jump in with more.

 

I picked it up. Couldn't resist for the price.

I'm now the proud owner of both.

 

Cant wait till the others games drop, I'm loving/ hating Gameloft right now. I bought BIA and Let's Golf for 5.99 yet I'm getting HOS, Real Soccer, and soon more cheap gameloft games for 0.99

 

I clicked the game but it's still showing up as $2.99 for me..

 

I'll continue waiting till its 0.99

 

Paid $9.99, it was worth it then. At $.99 if you like sports games it's worth it. I hate soccer, but this game is very fun.

 

I will pass on this title but I will sit back and patiently wait for other games on my hit list to drop because now its just a matter of time...

 

I'm still holding fast to my .99 or less rule for buying games, and sales like this make me smile! I guess I'll cave and buy it, but I also have my eye on iSR and Asterock, and I just got Hero of Sparta yesterday.

So many games, so little time.

 

X2 I think sucks hard and one of the worse sports games think I've ever played on iphone in that price range. Don't like the feel of sluggishness at all. Absolutely terrible compared to Real Soccer. If Real Soccer was $10 and X2 $1 I'd still recommend Real Soccer in a heartbeat no questions asked.

Already have it. More immersive than X2 and currently less frustrating, to be honest. X2 is almost perfect but the more you play it the more you find little niggling problems.

 

No offense, but I have to disagree with you. IMO, what you call "sluggishness" actually makes X2 more realistic. If you have watched soccer/football, then you know that the game does not mover super fast. It is relatively slow paced. In real soccer however, it is more like a pickup game of soccer with some friends. You try to score as many goals as you can in as little time possible. Again, this is just my opinion. If you want a cheat game that is good go ahead and buy Real Soccer, but if you want a GREAT game with realism and nice graphics, then I would definitely get X2 Soccer.

 

It must be sad that I'm actually contemplating getting this...

 

This game is fantastic whether you love sports or not i paid 6 for this game i would have paid 10 for it maybe more. It has replay value, good graphics, and hours of fun for well... if u share an ipod or iphone the whole family if not for you.

 

Well, not really. The sale will be over eventually so if you don't get it now, you probably won't ever get it.
