No question! Real Racing is way way way ahead of any racing games out there. Even it's full price is a steal!
I only have Need for Speed, and it's awesome, but I don't have Real Racing so I can't compare. Anyways, NFSU has a lot of different missions and cars and a lot of customization. It should last you three hours at the least. It's a really good arcade racer.
Regardless of whether you like arcade or sim I think there are selling points for both. NFS has car customizations and a "story". Real Racing has intense AI, actual 3D tracks (hills etc.), and online features. For me Real Racing is the better game. I am not a huge racing junkie and it is really fun to actually fight for first place. And there isn't drifting in RR.
NFSU has sweeeeeeet customization, and Real Racing is all around better. But you'll be sacrificing customization, because it has none. Wish there was an update for it
Real Racng is full price, NFS is cheaper. Real Racing is sim racing, NFS is arcade racing. Real Racing is custom cars, NFS is brand-make cars. I like driving brand name cars
