You realize even in some glorious world where everyone who finds themselves raging over this bought this game for $10 it'd still be insignificant to the player pool they're going to have with this game being free, right? I'm not supporting the downfall of anything, we're merely on the outside watching the market react. If you honestly believe TouchArcade has anything but the most minuscule of impact on the iOS market you're more deluded than I originally thought. We're reporting on everyone being a cheapskate which is forcing substantial moves like this. It's the reality we live in, "dickmove" or not.
Agree, 30 coins is £2.99 and you could munch through those in about 3 hours just on car service, this game reminds me a lot of the tripe timers that let's golf 3 gave us. Damage is fine because you can avoid that by driving smart and safe, buying cars is fine as all games do this, but having service timers 10 times longer then anything else? real annoying...

+1 It saddens me too that the media is defending this ridiculous freemium model! I mean if we all stand together, consumers give this a low rating, and the media bashing this move, the company would need to respond and change something about this unbelievably bad payment model.
If only you would've all stood together on willingness to actually buy games for a reasonable amount of money a few years ago we wouldn't be in this situation.
Doesn't excuse this game's horrid IAP model. Makes me wonder if the media is getting sum money under EA's table

Eli.... nothing personal..... but you need a vacation. This is less complicated than you think. Majority have spoken and the verdict is out. 1 star freemium garbage it is. This game is dead already.
Free to play games don't typically work if there's a limit on the amount of money "whales" can spend. It's the people who are spending $100's of dollars on these games that are subsidizing their existence for free to the rest of you guys who refuse to spend a cent on anything. The harsh reality of things. You think the angry mob is bad now? If this game launched at $20, we'd be looking at piracy numbers never seen before and anger levels that'd be boldly charting new territory in being mad on the internet.
