Actually, I think its because all those who enjoy the game and haven't had to buy iap (and simply can't if they are not from NZ) and are effective at managing their cars so don't have waiting times, just couldn't be bothered engaging with all the haters. As president of the dead trigger defence squad, I would have thought you would understand the misunderstandings and misperceptions that can be raged against a perfectly good game despite its freemium model by those who simply haven't been able to look beyond the iap at the game or gameplay itself.
Well, for me the timers at this moment aren't the biggest gripe.(service timers are reduced by 66%) It's just not a very good race game. No battling on the track,no slipstreaming,no free practice,no qualifying and a horrible framerate on Ipad 3 make it a very mediocre racegame at best. Even without the whole timer and IAP debacle it's all very lousy.
I know its wrong to steal from a developer but if the iap is really bad, then they deserve it. I haven't seen the iap myself yet but i saw someone post something about it being almost 600 euros, thats ridiculous. Thats like a coffee shop selling a small cup of coffee for 100 dollars. I would gladly give them the 3 dollars they deserve for making the coffee but not 100. Someone also just confirmed that their are free ways to earn iap and that you earn some each time you level up. Personally I will most likely buy a 6.99 or a 9.99 iap and give them the money they deserve, then use the tapjoy equivalent that someone mentioned. I am not going to pay hundreds of euros though for an ios game. Sorry to those that I offended and yes I realize I deserve to be banned. I just refuse to be pay outrageous prices for an ios game.
Okay fair enough, I do understand you're perspective. And you're opinion on the game or iap is perfectly valid if that's your perspective. And thanks for your very reasonable reply. But lets just not wish that people do hack. Lets just wish that, if a lesson is to be learned, let it be learned through a lack of downloads instead. It does make a stronger point than just stealing.
65 to buy the cheapest gold car. 800 to buy the most expensive. 1000 gold costs $99.99 of real money.
hmmm 1000 gold for 100 dollars.? I saw someone post saying it was 600 euros or something. Sorry last question but can gold be earned through the game? Also thanks Rip for the reply, but i guess your right. it makes more sense not to download it at all. Well if a mod comes through here they can delete that comment or ban my profile or whatever.
Either three or five gold every time you rank up. 1000 is the max rank. As in you can go from rank 1 to rank 1000 and earn either 3 or 5 gold each time. That's a lot of gold if one manages to make it to rank 1000.
Okay, that's fair enough. There is adjustments ongoing to the timers though. They were substantially reduced earlier today. But obviously not removed. Personally I'm just not having a problem with them, only ever a ten minute wait that inconvenienced me. But I can see your point of view on it.
I love how EA got a perfect pass from you for soft releasing the game with those 3x long timers in your TA Plays article. Now it must be an absolutely perfect game, they're being so generous by letting you play their game for longer! It's like getting free quarters at the arcade from the caring owner
It's weird how me enjoying a game that you can choose to not download or play at all seems to offend you so severely.
Thats good news, I guess the developers still have input on stuff like that even though its being published by EA. And at least it shows that they do care. I guess we have to wait until it releases to pass our final judgement.
Hopefully a little boost in how much money you make would be good it seems to change even when you win. I beat the same amount of friends and got first but was not awarded my cash amount from last time I raced it.
