Did you see the upcoming thread for this!!! No one had played the game and the bitching was horrendous.
Yeah dude, the third largest newspaper in the UK quoting TouchArcade as "F**k EA f**k firemonkey and f**k freemium" is great.
Bad but hilariously so. The guardian article however makes a good point that a lot of the posters are people who are veterans of the real racing series who -care- about the franchise and are quite correctly afraid / upset (depending on if you've downloaded it yet) about the direction the game is going. I now fall firmly into the latter camp, having concluded what EA and Firemonkey has delivered is CSR with corners. Anyone reviewing RR3 should do a compare and contrast to CSR, I'd be intrigued if they find as many similarities as I have.
WTF.. If I wasn't already here and saw that, my first thought would be, stay well away from the crazy!
Wtf i just had a service repair for 50 minutes, after 1 !!!!! Race without damage i needed another service repair and now again 60 minutes! This is ridiculous! F**K you ea!!! F**K U!!!!!!!
With people posting stuff like that, I doubt it. The guardian is a well respected paper here in the uk,
And this is pretty much how you will experience the first 10-15 hours of this game. Until you've got 4-5 cars in the stable to cycle between so the repairs happen in the background, you're going to be time grinding. CSR with corners folks.
"tyranny and evil" Honestly though Eli I don't know an internet community without bad comments. All the major sites have obnoxious fans/followers, and the loudest, boldest statements get attention on the internet. It's why some newspapers, blogs etc don't have a comments section, because mostly anonymous internet comments tend to be pretty terrible.
There are also reasonable posts on here the guardian could have chosen, but journalism thrives on sensational words, that's just how the game goes really.
So what is this like the new Dead Trigger thread? Reading the last pages and damn it seems shameful, embarrasing, entertaining and funny at the same time... Guardian, huh?
I've been pushing very hard for the front page to not have comments, but like review scores, it's just one of those things that are very difficult to get rid of.
wrong! anybody who think we are terrible should download the game and see for theirselves where the truth lies! it's safe to say thatwe are now internationally recognized for telling the truth! truth hurts isn't it!
They'd just migrate to the forums, even more so. I suppose that would be less public but no less a problem.
