Thank you, sir. It's actually quite nice to have some kind words for a change in this thread and someone that can see the logic in a point. So thanks for the kind words.
We live in the lucky country! Hey RIp just wanted to say that I really appreciate your reasoned input at TA. Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much, I genuinely appreciate that a lot. I'm not in Australia but I'll be setting some competing times with you guys later on.
Why NZ? Create an Australian account lol It's pretty easy, just generate a fake name and address. Let me know the details of what you need to know, and i'll see if I can help
Good catch Silvo by the way. I thought that one would slip under the radar for a few more hours. Nice one.
It depends on whether it uses iCloud or not. If it uses iCloud, you can change store but keep logged in to your normal iCloud account and progress will sync to that. Then when worldwide release hits, just delete app, ensure that you keep you're iCloud data. Reinstall from your normal store and on launch it'll sync up with your previous iCloud save. If its the same system as real racing 2, its simply a matter of setting up a backup account with your own log in through the app, saving progress before deleting NZ version and restoring last save once your own local version is installed and you've used the same log in. Note that it is your progress that will only transfer, purchases made from a New Zealand account cannot be transferred to your local account so don't buy any iap. Anyway that would require either a New Zealand credit card or gifting your alternate username a gift card. My advice would be not to do that and if you're going to buy iap wait until you have you're local one installed. Also, restoring purchases can only be done to the account the app was got on in the first place. It will save the gold and cash you have earned in game but whatever coins you buy, well I don't know really, some do depending on the progress save method, gamecenter association and other things and some simply don't. It really depends on how the server stores the info. As I said, its better to be safe than sorry and skip iap for now. Theres be no mention of cross platform saving or synching at any stage yet.
I have an Australian and US account. Normally if I buy a game from one account, I don't require transferring my game to another. However if you wish to do so, this thread may help. I'm not sure about cross platform syncing...
I hope the controls in this game are just like the ones in NFS:MW...the drifting with that game on tilt was just perfect in my opinion Also, an NZ account is better than an Aussie one by about 2 hours when it comes to apps releasing
It seems cnet Australia has changed their wording on the initial beta ish release to New Zealand, Australia and Canada. South Africa and Russia have been removed and Canada added.
Yeah, I thought the same and was wondering why Canada wasn't on the list. Obviously some kind of elaborate typo Sorry for any confusion it may have caused.
