Really? A few posts in one thread about one game has put some people off iOS gaming completely?! You were right about melodrama ...
Blitz Brigade's gameplay isn't great and I mean even without the IAP. There's potential but right now even the gameplay is messy. Real Racing 3 will be premium no doubt about it.
100% agree with that. Asphalt 7 really is F2P with a 99cent price and completely optional iap. A surprisingly good system that is actually very successful for them. If, and this is a big unconfirmed speculative if, RR3 turned out like that, it would be awesome.
I agree with Rig73 too! Took the words out of my mouth, I mean, typing on my keyboard. Firemonkeys: How about a "completely optional iap" ???
No, it is a horrible system. I would rather have a choice of either F2P or pay. I would happily pay £10 for a well produced game, so long as it did not have iAP...
The fact of the matter is, until Actual full games are released on the appstore for retail prices such as 20-40$, iAP will exist and will stay in a market where an amazing game will go for only 7$
It is a real nice Porsche 918 Spyder on the icon as well. Even that car is not delivered to customers yet so its a big coup for them to officially have it in game. Very curious to see the final list of cars because a lot of hot stuff (inluding that porsche and a very nice Mclaren) being shown officially in production form at Geneva next month that'd be nice to see in the game. Plus the new Corvette Stingray would be great. Fingers crossed.
I can't see why people are getting so excited. This is basically Gran Turismo but 10 years later - looks pretty but no car damage etc.
It does have car damage. Not to the extent of consoles or the latest Gran Turismo but then again an iPhone isn't a console, is it. You can't exactly carry 10 year old Gran Turismo or any of them (even if 1997 was when that came out first and 5 was the first in that particular series with a proper damage model, in 2010, not ten years ago) around in your pocket every day.
