Why? If you have an iPad 3, just update. You'll be fine. Anyway, its not 100% confirmed but from what I can gather from various articles and other buts of news information, the time shifted multiplayer requires iOS 6. At least that is the impression the last article I read left me with because it said specifically that a number of older devices are incompatible with iOS 6. Now that's not to say that it is a requirement because we simply don't know for sure yet. It is correct to say we don't know for sure, but little bits of info do seem to imply it. And they are legitimate news sources/sites. Anyway, updating to iOS 6 shouldn't be a problem to anybody after this Sunday/Monday.
If you want have a racing game, that puts the other ones to shame, then you just have to wait, if you please, for the Real Racing 3 release.
Listen everybody what I say iPhone 4 will run it fine... no way! and the release day is coming and i will not spend my money Because it won't cost me a dime I will play it smoothly on iPhone 5 Chorus: Throw the iPhone 4 in the trash and do not forget the 3GS.
Scientists (read: random dudes) have proven racing game fans to be potential modern age poets *insertnerdface*
If *it* isn't out before RR3's release, I'm gonna be a sad, sad person. I've got a LOT of tweaks which I can't live without, and I'd rather stay with the tweaks and no RR than otherwise :/ Any news on the price? Is it gonna be the standard 6.99?
I kinda like iOS 6, actually. You get Siri, ya know. She's almost totally useless, but nice bragging rights. And fun to argue with occasionally. iOS 6 jailbreak is rumored to be out Sunday (today) so you're probably in luck.
No word at all on pricing. As it will be the premier iOS racing game , I'm gonna guess premium with iap. Probably the same ball park as Need For Speed Most Wanted so around $5.99/$6.99, or so. I'm only guessing at iap but as it is standard on just about everything now, I don't see how it can't be there. I'm very confident the iap (if its there) won't be anything more than a quicker way to get stuff. I'm sure we can expect the usual backlash from people even though it won't actually be a factor in gameplay whatsoever. One thing I do know is that every time there's a bit of news on it, they always say that they have designed it from the ground up to be exactly what they wanted. And that just means the best bloody racing game possible on any mobile device. So talk or fear of iap pay walls or anything like that wont be necessary or transpire. A top notch best ever iOS racing experience is what we are going to get.
I'll wait a couple days after its release to see how it's received by the public.. If its positive, heck, I'll join the bandwagon. Though unlike android, I find almost no difference between different iOS versions Anyway, back on topic, I hope it releases soon
Let's hope there's plenty of cars, tracks, and classes Play me online, I'll hand you your asses! This game will run fine, my iPhone 5 will manage Your 3GS frame-rate will be my advantage! Yours will be chugging, mine will not stutter The high-res textures will run smoother than butter! I'll gladly pay a premium price if I must To leave all these Game Center punks in my dust! Now release the game already, we're fiending like junkies It's February already, give it here Firemonkeys!
