Not sure if you still get the notifications, but I just confirmed the timer still counts down even when you remove the game from the multitask bar (i think it updates the time the next time you start the game up). A couple of questions: 1) Is it better to try races at a lower car level to make more money, or upgrade the car and try the races. Not completely sure, but it seems the races do get harder when I upgrade my car (therefore harder to win money). 2) I turned autoassist for braking low, but I guess I am a newbie at this. Do I just tap the brake or hold it down for corners? Also, is drifting good or bad for my speed while cornering? Is it okay to drift as long as I am staying on the road, or am I actually losing more speed than if I tried braking more? Other games you are good drifting around corners, but I am not sure here.
Although I am still puzzled by your latest (judgmental) response towards me a while back when the topic was still heated. You must have thought I had some hostile intent at the time, which clearly wasn't the case. I legitimately didn't understand what you were trying to convey at the time, to which you summed me up as "one of those" and left it at that.
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about, are you sure you have the right person? I haven't bothered to get to caught up in this so bit puzzled to be honest...
Hey mate, just accepted your GC request Back to topic, answers as follows: 1) My way of doing things is just playing through without upgrading. I get the best car in the series to begin with, and just focus on making my driving better as the races progress. I move on as long as I get into the top 3. The races at the end of championships tend to give you more rewards too so try to get there as quickly as you can. Then, once I have gotten to the end, I ask myself...do I want to 100% this championship? So on one occasions I maxed out a car and won 100%, and on another I upgraded the first tier of everything and 3 engine tiers and got 100% as well. At the same time, I don't bother to 100% some of them, especially where the price of upgrades are ridiculously high. Like the MP412C. Just got to the end and then not bothered about it anymore. And a case in point. I am more likely to upgrade my car if it is the best (or at least second best) in two championships. Kills two birds with one stone. The car in the first championship (BMW 1 Series) can be used in a later championship. It is fully upgraded and even being the second best overall I am close to winning the championship. The ZS Drive on the other hand is the best outright in 2 champs (one of those with the 1Series) so it would be a good move to upgrade that car a lot too. All I can say is, use some brains. Compare. Purchase the best cars, better still if they are the best in 2 events. 2) Imagine braking in real life. You don't just tap the pedal right? Hold your thumb for as long as you would hold your foot on the brake pedal in real life. It is not OK to drift. Definitely slows you down 99% of the time. I am not sure, but it could also damage your tyres (wears them down faster). This is supposedly a sim racer, so drifts are a no no. In F1, a slight drift round a corner could lose you 0.5s. Which is a lot. In arcade racers all of these don't apply, of course.
Hey everyone, I would kindly like to ask for your assistance. A few days back, accessing one active championship persistently crashed my device. Yesterday accessing another caused the same problem. Today, I can only access two of my running championships. All the rest cannot be accessed. About 8 of them can't be accessed. What's the deal? Reboot, killing the app, wifi, airplane mode...all don't work. Any tips will be appreciated. This is getting beyond frustrating.
All good. Wasn't upset at all it's just that the majority of points he brought up had JUST been thoroughly discussed. Apologies if it came across nasty. Was just trying to keep the discussion fresh. It's futile though as when RR3 it's going to be a blank slate in many ways. I see your's and Connector's points totally
One hundred percent positive. You made two generic statements as you replied to a post of mine. The first one was along the lines of "This is terrible advice. With that attitude, we would all still be in caves with sticks and stones" as I was merely advising that getting high blood pressure over the IAP is a waste of time. Although there is nothing wrong with your statement in general, it felt kind of misplaced in my opinion. I don't see how it's terrible (your word) advice as it's still not proven that our anger is the reason the timers got tweaked after. And even before that people did calm down and started to give the game a chance. The second one was saying that popular is not better, as Justin Bieber is also popular. This one puzzled me the most, as I never mentioned anything about better or worse in the same post you replied to. So I sat there trying to understand these two very generic statements and what they actually added to my reply. I simply wanted to understand what you tried to convey, and your reply was literally along the lines of: "Oh, you are one of those. Awesome. And no, sorry... I cannot make it any more simple for you." Next to judgmental is was even as if you were insulting my intelligence to boot and left me with a very bad after taste and first impression of you. The reason why I brought this up again is not only because the thread calmed down, but also because all your other reactions I read after are of mature and constructive nature, so I was/am just as puzzled as you are.
Thanks for the info on the time waits. I was under the impression that to start, it was most important to save money for new cars until you get 3, then to start upgrading, but maybe some of the veterans can tell us. Also, when should I repair? It almost seems like it is best not to fix your damage and grind away, then I don't have to do wait timers as often, and I can get coins. But how do you determine when you should repair?
You have a memory like an elephant, I'd totally forgotten but does ring bells. Don't take anything personally, my first post may have come across wrong/rushed, by your last reply I felt you were a bit offended and came back with the mute post, so rather than get into a circular argument (which is what I meant by "one of those" as I misinterpreted your intention by the sounds of things) I bowed out with that. No hard feelings, like I say I had forgotten and didn't take anything to heart.
I have no idea but i think this whole TSM is b*llshit! In my games you always start in the back with me and its just a matter of a second to fly away from you. I win everytime against a full grid of GC friends. and like you experienced, i also overtake people very easy who i thought they were good!
I had the same problem. Just make the game save somehow by finishing a race, upgrading or buying something and it should work again.
Even after playing the races I can, nothing happens. Thing is, this problem has gotten worse over 2 days. In between that time, I have bought multiple cars and made multiple upgrades.
I will keep an eye open to see if the crashes return for me, too. Will let you know, if I find a fix. EDIT: just tried all my eleven open race groups, no crashes right now
1) Do you realize that the opponents brake lights do not light up when the brake? Only much later? 2) Have you encountered backmarkers? Have you won with the "help" of backmarkers?
