Don't worry. if some of your friends are too good ("elite players"), they are kept out of the race until you get a gold trophy for that event. After that, if you want to race that event again, they are allowed in, and it gets thougher, but only then.
I am mad about videogames, always, haha. Well, in the last two days or so, this thread has gone through a profound change mainly due to the upgrade which reduced the timer waits and other things, and the warring between the haterz and pro developers faction has subsided a lot with more of the comments now from seasoned veterans. As President of the Dead Trigger Defense Squad, I would urge all of us, to be kind to either faction, whether you are a fanboy or haterz. It is ok to dispel inaccurate statements by posting up good and informative facts, but there is no need to call people idiots or other derogatory names, or to tell people they don't deserve to be posting because they haven't played the game already. Let us all be kind to one another, haterz or fanboyz, and show that we can all be civil and kind to each of us, cause even though we might disagree at times, we need to show dignity and respect to all of our friendly members here at Toucharcade. We are a friendly family afterall, that is what is most important, not some disputes over a freemium game. Well, good news, finally got home from my friend's house, and see the attached screenshot. Played now for about 15 minutes, and I will to pass along some answers to some of the questions out there. Wow, there are so many comments that I have, don't quite know how to start. But played through the tutorial, then at the first circuit, they give you a little money to buy a car, then out of the blue, there is a 2 minute wait timer to get it.... Sigh, I am mad about videogames... Hehe, and they have to give me an ugly green car, a normal black or white car cost gold coins... Sigh, I am mad about videogames... But all is not lost, it has it's merits and faults. Will talk about them more as I play, wanna go play for a little bit more before sharing to see if it is true, that the game will get more likeable as the game progresses. I like videogames.
Can you tell us why? Is the ipad 4 version silky smooth, and does anyone know if the ipad 4 version is significantly better than the ipad 3 version? And please only from someone that either owns both or has access to both, I am not interested in knowing that theoretically, the ipad 4 version should be 2x better. If anyone knows, please let us know. Kind wish they took off some of the effects like light sun flares in the ipad 3 version if it meant better framerates though. Does the ipad 4 version have any added effects like shadows, light blurring, or faster framerates?
I mostly agree with your sentiments above. For one, ddriving a much faster car is so much different tha driving a slower car on the same circuit. Something is wrong with your real world money calculations
Valid points raised. What you say about playing multiple series in parallel is so true. Only thing is your claims of 35 gold per championship. This varies. Earlier on, the gold in total is roughly 20, and then later on I believe it might get to 50+. Won the Porsche 911 4.0 100% and got 35 gold in total there. And definitely, screw the assists guys. If possible, go for controls option B too. It allows for much better car control.
Gee, thanks. The reason why it went from black to white is due to EAs inverted triangle freemium model here. I explained enough before.
If (and a BIG IF) I ever go as far as finishing the game, it will coincide with the launch of RR4 late next year. Just too many events. Yes, I am complaining that there are simply too many events.
I won a cup 100% with the Porsche 911 4.0 w/o maxing it out. 3 engine upgrades, and one each of the rest. Don't just waste your money blindly dude.
You clearly know little about racing. Running over grass will cause DAMAGE to the underside of cars. Especially since these are race spec cars and the floor is much lower than the same road cars. I see F1 events all the while where the floorboards get damaged simply by running over a kerb or going off course.

Hehe, I am not trying to say that the TA regs are any better or anything, or better in anyway shape or form than to the newer members. Just wish some of them would start participating in this thread. I've seen 4 senior members come in and either the haterz or fanboyz sections quickly show them the door. So a lot of them are weary of even posting in here. I have a thick lizard skin, so somehow I survived. Anywayz, I personally have enjoyed your comments greatly because of your frank unbiased viewpoints of both the good points and bad. So thanks.
Its a decent game. Add a actual career mode and lower the prices of the cars and it will be better. But does look sweet on touch 4
Agreed with option B of control. You don't want to have only break or acceleration available when your car starts drifting unintentionally.
My one wish for the game has changed. Yes I want true mp but I'd kill for replays and the ability to share them
