Yup im getting times to compete with in the 35's then 8th is like 50+ seconds and i fall in the 40s go figure lol. It also happened in the first championship at silverstone like mentioned before. I havent updated in itunes but just the updates that have been pushed through the game.
With the reduced waiting times the game is really nice! Had to update the 1-star review to 4 stars. I also realized the real-life tracks are much more fun than the ones from RR2. And the elevation changes are great. My GC nick is meles-meles, please add me if you want.
Hey, good to hear. Makes me look forward to test driving it soon. Good Morning All. Well, kinda busy cause I'm going to the beach soon with some friends. But I got time to see if my NZ account will work, and after that gotta figure out what I want to delete to make up space to load this thing on... Maybe Asphalt 7? Just kidding! Angry Birds Seasons will have to go!
I haven't touched RR3 in several days. I just don't like the F2P system. I open that game up, recall I have to wait to repair, then remember that I will never be able to collect all the cars, then I roll my eyes and switch to NFS. Why was Rip put in timeout? A pm explaining would be greatly appreciated. I must say some of the moderation, as well as many longtime TA members' behavior, has been disappointing in this thread.
Another thing that I think changed behind the scenes is the wear time for your car parts, oil seems to last a little bit longer then a few days back and stuff like engine, tyres and suspension last much longer before they need a service. Overall it feels good, I played for a good hour+ earlier today and only stopped because I needed a break, not because of the game. Just bought the viper for the weekly TSM challenge, 7 cars now !
Realized that as well. It seems like only the oil lasts longer though. But could be wrong and all might indeed last longer. What's the weekly TSM challenge?
PLay again. The last 30 pages dont have anything bad to say about the game. Most of us are seemingly having fun now. And rip is in a timeout? I called him a diplomat cause he seemed overly civil in arguments. cant imagine him getting banned. this game was a genuine bad egg at the beginning so if some members went OTT in expressing their feelings i could understand it. and moderating is no more problem. they just shifted a bunch of negative posts...not since.
I mean is there anything special about it? bonus rewards anything? whats the purpose of this event anyways?
Well I just raced it, there was nothing special for what I could tell, just a weekly challenge. hm, would be nice if the top few people every week got some gold coin, firemonkeys
Finally *pant* catched up *pant* reading al *pant* 153 pages *pant* Hence my responses were kind of absent in this thread and hence I am not as leveled up in the game as much as I hoped. Darn this thread! So right from the beginning my experiences with RR 3 were and are similar to most people here: sad it went freemium, giving it a chance, starting to like it, starting to like it even more. I spent days at work and home just reading up on this thread while playing a bit during commute from home to work and vise versa. The graphics are stunning. Cannot get over that even today... truly remarkable! Really do hope we are going to see a lot more features and improvements down the road. Things like slip streaming, more personal multiplayer options and most of all: REPLAY functionality... for the love of Celestia! I miss that so much. This is exactly what I've had in mind doing. And this is exactly why I've added a few of you people here. I actually logged out from Facebook again because it was too random and I want my GC name instead of my Facebook name out there. Sadly, my iPhone 4 has way more FPS then my iPad 3. But the iPad 3 has much more to deal with of course and it's worth the eye candy IMO.
My ipad 3 runs this game terrible also, I think it's trying a little too hard to play with the retina resolution that the game suffers on ipad 3 because of it, either needs a menu choice to drop it to 1024x768 or an option to use lower poly assets.
Jbruu, Racer is right about this thread getting much better in the last 30 pages. It is a calm with only a couple of us more hardcore racing fans here and the thread has become much more civil. The 7 hate threads have seemed to have fizzled, but then again, I am sure there will be some more flame wars come Feb 28th. As the others have mentioned, the wait timers and some other changes have been implemented, so it is worth giving a chance again to the game. Of course, I am with you that the wait timers need to be improved and that the inapp structure could be adjusted some more. But, anyway, I think the mods and Eli are trying their best to handle all of the RR3 threads cause there are so many. It is a hard time for them as well as us as gamers, and they are doing their best, which I for one, respect. Anyway, peace out my friend.
Bless the lords cause over 50 pages had been removed from this thread. They were all valid but spoke of the game negatively.
I'm on form today So far I've lunched six sets of tyres Four sets of brakepads Three suspension kits God knows how many gallons of oil All simply to keep up with some of the people I friended. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Seriously, if consumables mirrored real life we'd be out of oil in like -a day-.
No idea what you feed your iPhone 4! I've tried RR3 on my wife's 4 and its nowhere near as smooth as my iPad 3 or 4S, both of which are on a par with one another in terms of frame rate. The iPad 3 has far shaper visuals (less jaggies) than the 4S too.
It does not run "terrible" on the iPad 3. Stop putting such scaremongering comments out there for those in the community who have not played the game yet. Only advice I can give you is to visit www.specsavers.co.uk ...
