I believe this can happen in endurance mode. I have hit 25km once on Hockenheim. And I could go on but I always stop as soon as I get P1. As it eats into your cars services and condition.

But endurance is like a loterry. I have come across parts where I overtake vie/six cars who travel slowly in one go.

You can say what you want about this thread but it took me from a new member to a senior within two days. Thanks to RR3, IAPs, rage and Enya I did the forum equivalent of losing my virginity.
Now if you don't mind I need to go wash. I feel dirty

Nope I did the Same, although I have gone back to traction control on. I am using tilt with manual accelerater, although I have noticed a couple of times now that touching the accelerater out of a corner after braking doesn't register and I don't accelerate till I tap again. Annoyingly it has cost me places in a race two or three times now.

Dude, this just happened to me twice in the past hour or so. Never happened before. Same on your side? I thought I ran out of gas the first time lol.

The in game damage doesn't hurt so bad it's the gradual wear and tear that sucks. Just went the opposite way for a lap for a few head on collisions with my friends. &1100 and under 4mins

    Alternative mode of play:
Buy two cars in the one series. One corner beast and one flyer. When beaten befriend the guys on the standings board. Just challenge each others times and alternate cars depending on the requirements or repairs.

I've got two high end cars but I don't use them as I keep returning to my trusty Silvia in the 1st series to beat my GCST friends times. It's hard not to

I've had all the assists off for a while and I still haven't gotten the achievement for completing an event with no assists. Anyone else having issues with that achievement?

I'm starting to like this game more with every minute I sink into it. The different race modes are noticeably different, unlike other racers. I don't know why everyone's crying but I haven't found the need for an iap yet. I've played around 30 events so far. Even the R$ seems to be given adequately with each race.
Hell, considering I'm getting all this for free, I'd rate this game a 6 out of 5. Totally deserves it.

Btw, Rip, if you're reading this, do you always end up in the lower half of the table? In most of my races with you, you'rethe last player on the grid, apart from myself. Just wanted to work out how TSM really works when it comes to this.

From what I can make out, in a grid of 22, positions 4 through 21 are put depending on your car's upgrades and 1, 2 and 3 are incredibly fast cars, maybe to force you into getting upgrades. And those people who you have in TSM are put in based on their times with reference to the rest of the grid

Rather angry at the AI right now, they are just so blind especially on the longer tighter tracks, they just go where they want and push you into a wall or ram you from behind, the AI in gran turismo 1 was better then this.

From PocketGamer: "The wait timers for repairs are back. In certain test regions, anyway. This isn't a massive surprise given Real Racing 3 is still in soft launch mode."

Pretty expected move. The game was greatly balanced, and makes the game playable without any force of IAPs. Well, we had a great ride when there was no timers :(

This is definitely the biggest complaint about the gameplay itself. How frustrating when an opponent just sweeps into you. In Indianapolis (oval), those mofos just slice me into the walls at high speed.

I refuse to believe FM knew nothing about the AI. I can almost say with certainty this was done on purpose to make you do repairs more often.

  15. We're talking a couple of minutes at the most for the windscreen etc repairs. Nothing too bad.

On a separate note: I just won against several friends and earned a good several thousand R$ on an endurance race, coming 2nd place. And this with all but 2 service meters in the red (2 of the ones in red were on the lowest amount- just a tiny red line showing). Just goes to show you can still have a great race no matter the repairs needed ;)

That's the first time since ive been playing this, that an AI car actually get off the track!

yes, TSM works really well, and makes AIs behave like normal people.

Yeah, I'm mostly at 22 at the start of a race.
I do remember a few times I was in the middle somehow. I thought at the time that it was down to the times I'd done on that particular event previously because it an event I was replaying to beat you guys times :)
But after redoing some other events, it seems now to be back of grid. Its possibly something their tweaking but dunno really. I'll test it out on a few more tsm events later and see. If I notice any thing different or figure out a reason, I'll let you know.
Stop beating my time:) oh wait, don't, going back and beating other times gives me a load of cash.

I've seen that a good bit lately now. I'm assuming its down to other people's data loading up to the server over time and it becoming more accurate or real as more and more a people play.
It definitely is getting a lot more interesting and challenging in races when you're trying to beat someone else on tsm.
My focus is fully I the red across the board bar one, not even a sliver of red so I've no oil, no brakes, no tyres and a very sick engine. Plus its pretty dinged up. But its still going. Its only managing top 15 in later races in first championship but can make top ten in first few blocks of it. Not too bad really, time to upgrade tough even if the door half hanging going around a corner is kinda funny.

You're saying you start off the race higher up in the grid? So far I've always been at the 22nd..
And I really hate how well the notification shows up.
"Rip73 has just completed this particular cup in Real Racing 3 and beaten you!"
I've spent too much time on this game, amidst exams, and this really doesn't help, haha

I've seen cars spin off the track as well, especially in the Indiana raceway event. I was staring at the 2 cars that went off, until I promptly hit the wall.
The good thing is, you get a lot of money even if you end up in the lower half of the table. I remember in RR2, I was forced to restart halfway through a race just so I didn't have to do the entire cup again. I like it better this way
