Universal Real Racing 3 by Electronic Arts

Discussion in 'iPhone and iPad Games' started by matthew-13, Feb 13, 2013.

  1. I always considered Real Racing as an arcade game more than a simulator. Sure it is more realistic than Asphalt 7, but the racing itself is very much like it could be played in the arcades.

I consider simulations as totally realistic, the ironic thing ia the timer waits are kinda more realistic, but anyway, I kinda feel NFS Most Wanted, Real Racing 3, And Asphalt 7 are major competitors on the driving genre. But if you all think that it should be compared with Mad Tracks, go ahead, I got no idea cause I don't own that game.

But I agree with you, if Asphalt 8 is a freemium, please no timer waits and a balanced inapp system. But I have confidence in Gameloft. Asphalt 7, Wild Blood, and Modern Combat 4 have all been solid. So I have faith that Asphalt 8 will be good.

Turn off the Brake Assists and you should be fine.

Did you not understand what I said?

Out of 50. People on Twitter that said that their Cars are to slow or slowing down during a Race fifty hadn`t deactivated the Brake Assists. If you are Number 51. where this isn`t the case consider yourself as someone Special which I`m sure EA/Firemonkeys might look into it if they consider it important enough to add on their current Agenda.

No, what was he saying really? I am curious. I couldn't decipher a thing he said in that paragraph.

  8. Sanuku is a good guy. His English is just a little hard to read sometimes. I'm sure he didn't mean any offense. :)

  9. I think this *might* be what he was trying to say.

Out of 50 people on Twitter who complained about slow cars during a race, all of them had not deactivated their brake assists. If you are still having issues, EA/Firemonkeys may look into it but right now they are busy with many other pressing issues.

Real Racing is definitely a simulator; the confusion normally comes from the unpublicized fact that it is actually simulating an imaginary world. One with its own peculiar laws of physics, and therefore quite different to ours perceptions of things like mass and velocity. It's similar to our own world at first glance, except everything runs at a sketchy thirty frames per second.

I don't know if it's a bug but my background music keeps looping every 5 seconds.. It's been this way since I got the game so I'm not sure if it's a bug.

Go to settings and look at your music volume indicator. At the end of every 5 odd seconds, it drops to 0 then back to the normal setting. Again, bug?

EDIT: never mind, it was temporary.. Seems to work now

Is there a way to keep the music on during the menus but off during the race instead of manually adjusting it every time?

I'm not a fan of grinding so I am going to splash some cash out... Don't want to spend more than 20 pounds as that is what I would spend on a premium title.
Should I buy R$, Gold or both?

Ok, finally beat Southbank and 100% the first championship. Got reward of $15k and 15 gold coins. Not too shabby I'd say :)

You really shouldn`t give up that easily. Well, let`s give it another try:

About your Can`t get passed them because there is not enough space left:

Try to use the Corners as much as possible even if that does mean that you will risk crashing into the another cars on the track while at the same time hitting the curbs. Southbank is one of those few Tracks where you have to fight for every inch so don`t drive like you would be afraid that your Car could get scratches.

Dude, by now I played 15 hours. The amount of cash/gold I have earned in total is about $100 of real world money. You might as well "grind", though actually there is no grinding involved in this game at all. I have 8 cars, 500k in bank and 211 gold at hand.

Tip: Wait for an update. I am sure they will increase the amount of cash/gold via IAPs cause now the returns arent good at all. Dont regret later mate.

Thanks man. These wansn't what I asked, but I appreciate you going way out of your way to do what you perceived as helping me.

Where are you from? I might know the native language of that place.

Anyway, you really seem like a good chap so sorry if I offended you with my comment earlier ok.
