I never waited either. Can't say I've done 8hrs straight but I haven't waited to race since about 30mins in. I've got 9hrs total on the board but unlike a few crew here I spent $15 on IAPs
Yeah, that seems to be the common denominator is the inapp purchases I guess from what I have seen from some. I guess the hackers who have infinite money have no wait, and the system time hackers don't either. So there seems to be so many different views of the world on this one. Anyway, I am going to have to figure this out myself, hopefully tomorrow, cause I am baffled when people are posting so many different opinions on wait timers and the number of cars.
Oh wow. Weren't you one of those who didn't have nice things to say about the game and EA? And you gave them $15. Unbelievable.
Actually I've posted many impressions of the game. They're in the thread. I'm not bothering repeating them as you just don't seem to be interpreting what I'm saying correctly at all. You can choose to apply any meaning you want to what I've said so far, at least that does demonstrate independent thought as opposed to following the mob (which is considered in psychological circles as decentralised decision making, irrational and destructive). I edited in order to attempt to keep some vestige of peace in the thread but as you seem intent on doing the opposite by applying meaning that wasn't there in the first place I shall just choose to add you to my ignore list and say so long, to connector.
Now that I'm at a keyboard I'll type a proper reply. You see, rip here doesn't care about winning. He just wants the $$$. So to him it didn't make a difference if he sent a car for repair or he just used the dog of a car and continued racing, as even coming in last will get you a little amount of money that will come to good use in buying your second car. But if you want to play the game competitively, then I guarantee that you will need to send the car in for servicing, within 30-45 minutes of the first race (about 6/7 races in). This doesn't include damage repairs which are only a few minutes long, and as a newbie you will surely come across those on a race to race basis. All I can say is that rip seems to be OVERLY positive about this game. If that makes him happy so be it. And besides greed and timers, why I rate this behind A7, RR2 and NFS MW is due to screwed up AI, lack of balance, no slipstreaming, too large grid that spreads out quickly if you don't muscle your way through in the first two corners, deliberately narrow tracks etc. The list could go on. You must take my word for it as I have played the game the most here I guess. 240 gold and 900k earned in total. Level 38. But it is fun. Or is the right word addicting? What do they say about the "best" freemium games again? (Hint: They say the game's addicting)
Don't fight guys. You seem to be senior members, at loggerheads for the first time. Make love, not war
Haha! Yep. Straight up gave them $15 because from my POV I grabbed RR2 for free and $15 for a good game is fine for me. Yes there are massive features missing from the game. Yes EAs evil manipulation of time is the worst seen since Nero destroyed Vulcan. Yes there needs to be a pay ceiling. BUT if you can suck it up there a boat load of fun to be had here. Bogus companies get your coin everyday. Don't think they don't. At least here my virtual oil isn't killing future generations....or is it?!?!?!
You first post is here rip attached. I have the other that you deleted too if you want me to post it. I actually refrained from attacking you, so ignore me if you want or be my friend if you want, really I don't care. I will always be your friend, cause I am a friendly person. You started it, I have never attacked any of your pro RR3 posts whatsoever. You chose to attack mine, so as my signature reads... So long, From the Connector
Ok, you're close but not quite. At the moment I'm running one of my cars into the ground just to see how much destruction it can take and if it possible to earn cash to put towards another car. A simple experiment. In relation I referred to much earlier in the thread. What I was basically saying is that there was only one ten minute interval where I picked up the game and couldn't play because of a car I had put in to servicing prior to that. Also what that essentially means is that I managed my first car, never serviced more than one item at a time so that there would not be 6 items being serviced and a tow hour wait. I don't know what the longest service time I sent a car for is, I just didn't pay attention as it only one mechanical item at a go, a couple doors and windscreens at the same time. Stuff like that at times when I knew I would not be playing. In saying that it was close to an hour before I serviced anyway and at that stage I wasn't too far from my second car and it was at this stage that the ten minute window was at. I think that makes it clearer.
Sorry are we talking about the same thing? Totally agree you will have to get your car fixed every few races and it will take time. If you want to race that one car then your gonna have a bad time but surely with multiple cars you're not waiting. I've got six cars. I haven't been short on something to race yet. I'm really stoked you're not playing online coz I think you would smash me
What? You're saying I photoshopped it??? Or you mean very first post ever in this thread??? I guess that is what you are talking about. Anyway, speak to me, it was you that attacked me first, I have never attacked one of your pro RR3 posts.
Correct, at least that is my personal experience of it. Others see it differently but I can only base it on myself having no problems iap wise. Gameplay is very good in my opinion. There is some draw distance and rendering hiccups but they are being fixed.
So Racer was right I guess. This is not normal competitive play. So how could use this in your arguement rip?
How do you know it's being fixed dude? I need to jump back on the Firemonkeys forums. Good info on there
Well, that is it for me, unless he wants to attack for no reason again. Anyway, I am going to go try to download the game, so I can come up with some more solid observations of my own.
You have a very diplomatic way of speaking. Which I don't like. Speak like a normal human. And yeah, how you know they are being fixed? Are you some insider? That might explain they incessant barrage of positives coming from your side.
