Danny I beat you in a race with my non upgraded crappy car :).......now 15 mins for oil change :(

  3. I think part of the problem here is some (not all) of the haters have been managing their repairs/upgrades wrong. For example, one guy on the main blog stated he'd only played the game for half an hour and then needed to service his car for 6 hours! How the heck did he manage that when I've played for 2 hours and even then only needed a couple of hours repairs? (could have been less, can't remember)

People need to realise just because one of the service meters is in the red, doesn't mean it has to be dealt with asap. If you feel you can still get a couple more races out of the fella before it needs sending to the garage, feel free! It might not perform as well, but heck it would still do a decent job of getting u some extra cash before u click that service button. Same goes for repairs too! And don't forget, the more races you get under your belt (even if you don't come first), the more you level up, and the more gold coins you earn- allowing those wait times to vanish!

Exactly this. And it gets even easier once you have two cars, especially if they're both in the same tier. I've been plowing through the first "league" of races the game gives you by just cycling between a couple of cars, racing one while the other upgrades, then racing the other while the first is repairing. The other important thing to note is that once your car has some damage, like headlights or minor things like that, THOSE ITEMS CAN'T BREAK TWICE. There's literally no need to repair things that impair your top speed by .5 MPH.

Add The Lost Deputy if anyone wants to race me...well my time...but not my time...a car with my profile

  6. Very good point :)

Yes I noticed that too- that some repairs really aren't worth bothering with unless you've got plenty of cash or u just want your car looking pristine again.

And yea, anyone wanting another add, I'm Wastedyuthe on GC too ;)

So I finaly managed to make Australian account, donwload and play game. I played for almost 2 hours with one 15 minutes break to change oil. I could buy two cars. Graphics looks fantastic. I like it even more than NFS MW. Gameplay is great. I turned off all assist tools and I won most of events I entered. I didnt have to spent single gold coin so far. I played enough to enjoy game. On other hand I can imagine that game will push me to paywall soon. Replaying event isnt option. Oponents are much faster, with better cars or with more upgraded ones. Paying for repairs is great idea, but wainting for them not. This game could be legend of iOS gaming. I would pay 20 Euros without any problems for this game without timers.

With iap so overpriced and without possiblity to actualy buy game after trying it for free it is just HUGE warm whale cum into world od F2P by EA.

Few fact from Australian app store:
Game is on 146 place Top Grossing iPhone apps and on 97 place Top Grossing iPad apps.
    150 ratings so far:
    73 - 5 star
    12 - 4 star
    7 - 3 star
    17 - 2 star
    41 - 1 star

I must say it is getting better now that I have three cars I played for about 3 hours before I needed to wait 6 hours again to service everything. It's still not great I would rather be able to buy a full game an play as long as I want but for free it's really not too bad. The only issue is you can't really advance much though so you can basically replay the beaten tracks with your old cars to gain money so that helps having to wait. But in the last games you could just keep moving on to the next event which I liked.

  9. I really don't understand people saying this. What is the problem with replaying an event? Sure you'll come up against different opponents who will sometimes have a more powerful car. So you won't always come first. So what? Race as fast as u can, keep to the lines as best as u can, earn as much as u can. Doesn't matter if u don't come first. Maybe next time u play the event you'll stand a better chance with easier opponents. I don't get it

I believe this could have been avoided if Apple didn't make iPhones cheaper. That way people who Are willingly to buy an iPhone are more likely to buy apps. A little off-topic but is EA still the worst company in the world?

I agree with this also i been racing with a banged up car just to build cash while i wait for the other, something im going to try is just repair one part instead of the whole lot there is nothing in the rule book to say YOU HAVE repair everything and keep earning money even if i dont come first. Then bed time repair everything over night.

I started to repair and upgrade together instead of separate while cars doing nothing for x amount of time i may as well stick a upgrade on from the winnings i got from my second banged up car.

I cant fail to be not impressed by how this game looks and runs.

I dont get it why you dont get it. I didnt say that I cant stand loosing, but it can easily happen that you dont even have chance to do 1 or 2 places up in grid and thats not definitely fun.

Once again i agree with Wastedyuthe, i replayed events lots of times sometimes i won sometimes i come dead last cause i ferked up taking a corner or i just meet some stronger times.... (i say times cause to me there is no AI)

  15. Worst company in the world? Isn't that a little harsh? They did destroy Chillingo after they bought it, but for the most part, many of their games are decent. I sure hope they update RR3 before it hits the US though.

No really last year( or 2011) they were the WORST company in the world. The PR to that was essentially "we don't care as long as we make [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅5̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] ". There are some sites that will list out the reason with none of the reason really having to do anything with Chillingo or mobile. Mainly screwing PC and console players.

I said myself and i dont think anyone answered my question which was ok then HOW MUCH would you have paid for this if it was not Free to play

  18. It can also be the opposite. Therefore I stick by my statement. I don't understand people saying replaying an event isn't an option. In fact, I'd say it's a necessity if u want to save up cash etc.

$14.99 - $19.99 usd if it had the long list of features that aren't included. As it is now, w/o timers, $4.99.
