I just have to say this. How come dead trigger got more hate from touch arcade than this? I don't understand. This is freemium at its worst here. You have to wait to use your cars!
On dead trigger you don't have to wait for anything. Hell, if ea made a shooter game, they'd make it you have to pay 5 gold coins to reload!

If your NZ account has been made already then go on your iphone/ipad and go to settings and then Itunes and App Store. Click on your current apple id e-mail address at the top and choose sign out. Sign in with the NZ account your created, go to the store and download RR3. Once done repeat the steps to log back in to your US account.

If no one paid a penny, cent, franc or whatever your national currency is between now and the 28th EA would be begging us to buy it for a reasonable one off payment. It really is as simple as that (or they lose a fortune)!

info.plist in your *.ipa file have information about your account, when you bought this app etc.. So, I quees it is impossible.

RR2 HD just went to $ 0.99 so you have something to play during the cool downs in RR3

  8. Ahh, thank you, found it, so it says like $75,000,000 and 60,000,000 coins, wow, that sure would give someone an advantage.

  9. Actually it's 7 gold coins to reload.

Well just had another session- both my cars now in service (one for 3 hours, the other for 1h30mins), but can spend 7 coins to repair immediately if i wish. I have 22 so the option is there, but tbh I've played more than enough today.

The thing is you earn coins each time you level up, and you can keep playing earlier races again and again if you so wish to earn money. Ok sometimes you get your arse whipped by someone with a more powerful car. But I'm not so bothered that I don't come 1st place every time. So long as I do eventually win a cup for each event, and so long as the money keeps coming in and I keep levelling up, then that's good enough for me.

I actually do like the TSM in this! It adds variety for one thing- you're always racing against new people- some with more advanced cars, some with less. I'm not sure how much of it is the players actions and how much is AI, but to me it works other than my previous statement that I wish they would just move out the way sometimes to stop their own car being damaged. But overall, I actually don't mind not winning every time- seems more realistic and more like you're always playing against real people.

Of course the game isn't perfect. But heck! I'm well impressed and thoroughly enjoying it so far :)

Oh, and it was by choice both my cars are in service before anyone asks. I could have carried on with my Nissan even though a couple of service meters were on red. But I chose not to.

Agree with the majority of the rants here and on the other thread. That said as a pickup and play option it works really well. Short bouts of racing and repair. If they can add a Real multiplayer option I would consider lifting the jihad I placed on them

May pick it up. Been playing RR2 iPhone version on my iPad in 2x. Not bad but I'm bet my opinion might change when I see in in HD.

  17. Haha :D

Agreed about it being good for pick up and play, although I don't consider 2 hours straight a "short bout" ;)

Made an NZ account, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the game so far. The "funny money" isn't nearly as intrusive as everyone is trying to make it out to be, at least not now that I have 3 cars that I can cycle through. Obviously doing things like running full repairs+services on your vehicles before bed every night will be key.

Anyways, I wanted to ask a question. Seeing as I'm a resident of the USA with a USA app store account, once this launches in the US will I likely be able to pick up the USA version of the app and pick up right where I left off on the NZ version? I'd prefer to have the option of buying IAPs available, and seeing as how I don't want to make a NZ credit card to tie to my NZ app store account...

Basically, on the 28th when the USA app launches, will I still have my cars on the USA version? Or will I have to start over?

For sure. I played yesterday for hours without waiting. The only thing I've spent my coins on are paint jobs and a couple final upgrades.
As stated my issue is with the lack of features. I've dropped $15 and it has set me up well but with no Leaderboards, replays, real multiplayer etc etc the brand in tarnished. The rating had dropped to 3.5 on the Aussie App Store

Help guys I want to buy my 3rd car. I currently have the skyline and the silvia. I can afford either the SRT8 or the 350z. What do you guys think I should get?
I don't think I'm ready for the Audi TT coupe yet but I could do a few more races and get that as well..
