Yeah but when you "mod" it with millions of gold coins it's just like stealing real money from EA and Apple! Iap gold cost real money and you have millions.....do i need to spell it out for you?
What he has done is no different than someone spending $100s and getting all the upgrades that way. Both are still cheating their way to the top, only one does it without opening his or her wallet. Are you going to complain about those people that "beat you" (note that you're not actually racing real people, you're racing AI with real people names/upgrades) when they spend $300 to buy best car and gear? As for the whole "well you're stealing from EA! OMG!" ? Well, let's just say I won't be losing any sleep over EA's "lost profits"
What multiplayer mode? Single player is time shifted multiplayer (tsm) Tsm is the only way to play rr3
But to be fair to him, he is not getting an unfair advantage. Others with bottomless wallets will do the same. Then what have you to say?
Would someone please ban the hackers. Even though some people are being serious idiots in these threads, I truly appreciate the order Eli and the other moderators and responsible senior members are attempting to keep these boards in. I came here because I found it to be a good place to discuss games (most of the time). If all you want to do is rant and rave about a game you probably never had first hand experience with yet, please go start your own forums and stop trying to ruin ios gaming and our experience on these boards. Thanks in advance for showing your true colours when you turn around and flame me instead of dealing with your issues... Too bad this game is not in Canada yet. I was so wanting to get firsthand experience last night.
You don't understand intellectual property do you? That little "I agree" button? Yaaaaaaa. By the way. Your the problem that makes jailbreaker look bad. Way to go.
This isn't about him having an unfair advantage, this is about him hacking (not modding) the iap's/game!
Hey guys, now don't say this and that about me. I am not a modder in any way. I was merely trying to present the argument in the converse. TouchArcade seems to have a herd mentality problem. Sorry, had to say it. Look at both sides constructively. The points I raised are valid. And to the guy saying you hit the "I agree" button, show me where it says you shouldn't manually increase the count of gold/cash? Again, I am not saying what the guy did is correct. I am merely saying he shouldn't be instantly vilified.
It's not stealing money. If you make a text file and charge people $1 to add any characters to that document but I add them in anyways, lets say 500 characters, I did not steal $500 from. Cheating isn't right. But your wrong in your view of it.
Dude that argument doesn't work in a pay to win kind of game like this. You mean you and all others who did not hack OR shell out 100 bucks would be unable to beat them.
Exactly, everyone stop being stupid infants, either play the game or don't, and mind your own business. Share your comments but be rational...jeez
Game Impressions I have to say, it's a very pretty game. But starting the game, choosing my first car and being told "now wait for two minutes" was either a bit on the nose, or was being very clear about how the system would work. All I can say is I've played more *other* racing games since starting RR3 (to pass the time waiting for timers to complete) than actually played RR3. I think I'm more of an arcade racer fan, so this isn't really my kind of game - I'll probably give it a bit more time though, as it's a good pick-up-and-play time-waster (which means I'll probably be minimally affected by the timers).
