Which surely means any multiplayer will be fundamentally broken. The winners will always be whales and hackers. Saying that, in the past the winners (those with the best cars) were always those with loads of time on their hands, kids basically.
It's definitely a shame that this game has turned out like it has. Like with many other freemium games, it has the potential of being good but is ruined by it's greedy and obtrusive free to play model. I've been playing a lot of the iOS NFS: Most Wanted recently. Despite it's paymium elements, it has quickly become my favourite iOS racing game. As much as I have enjoyed the Real Racing series, I've always preferred the NFS games (with the exception of SHIFT & SHIFT 2) as they are pure, fun arcade racers. Real Racing games tend to be arcade racers dressed up in a simulation racer frock, and it seems to be the same with this game. That doesn't worry me though, the free to play model does. That's my opinion. Time to get the hell out of Dodge...
l can hack any game on the app store. but I buy my games and cheating games are only for me!.I do not share.
I'm on 68 trophies (54, 7, 7). Can't believe I am only 7% completed. Anyway, I will probably slow down from now on. Two/three races a day. Will be done by the time Real Racing 4 is out! Fyi, I have a stable of 7 cars. Drive well, rarely go off road and now I don't even crash. Yet 6 cars of mine are on the treatment table. So whoever says you can survive with 2 cars - wrong!
I suppose, yeah. The whales were always going to be a problem anyway. If they had a way of detecting upgrade levels of the cars and then matchmaking accordingly, it would equalise things out. Whether it can be done or not, who knows. But perhaps its a possibility.
Or it could be whales like John Doe who've spent $99.99 (or more, I shudder to mention a figure) on IAPs.
But it is also modding. Many old school PC gamers mod their games. EA is giving this game away for free. It has become your property. For free. What you then choose to do with it is your own choice. No? Disclaimer: I do not know how to mod games on mobile
Okay, fair enough. I'm surviving well with three currently. I never send them for mass repairs at the same time though, generally one or two repairs or upgrades while I'm racing another. It is kinda in game money wasting at times but I'm always earning a lot more while racing. I have genuinely always had one to race while repairs are being done bar for one ten minute interval. Different play style maybe or just different repair pattern, I dunno really. Maybe I just haven't hit your level or progress yet either. Dunno really.
Wait, what? Why is my user name above one of Killy Billy's posts wording? Creative reply editing? Ah, no matter, I share Billy's opinion on this one.
This is a multiplayer game... Lets say me and you were on time shifted multiplayer (the only way to play)on a race Me-1 of every upgrade on starter car You-Every upgrade on every car in the game Me and all others who did not hack would be unable to beat you despite possibly being better at rr3
