Oscar, contact Fiemonkeys support. They are able to access more than just your most recent icloud save* - perhaps they can restore an older one with all your cars and progress. *The person I was in contact with from support mentioned that the cloud save they accessed to check on my car upgrades was an older one.
I think I'm not the only one in here who devoted a massime amount of time (and I spent money on IAP more than any other game ever, shame on me) to this game and I feel kinda betrayed. I keep playing at least 10 mins everyday just for the 100% bonus, but I'm quickly losing faith in Firemonkeys and this move could be another reason to bail out.
FM / EA have made the game impossible to complete. For those of us who have spent real money on the game and who have avoided cheating / hacking of any kind, it is a real slap in the face when they once again change the rules on us. Borders on fraud if you ask me. As long as nobody spends any time giving them bad reviews, or complains about those that do, then nothing will happen. Go on the FM website, send emails to anyone you can find an address to. Put your opinion in comments sections of reviews and in any gaming forum you can find. Spend the same amount of time doing this per day as you used to playing the game (if you're stuck like me at level 204, with 84 cars, no gold and 5million R$). I won't grind for gold when it takes me 6hrs to level up, so until they come up with a new track, car or series, I will check in once and a while to see if any of my friends have beaten me lately, and otherwise just ignore this game.
Hmmm the more you guys keep talking about the rewards changes the less I want to play They really need to tweak the payment model... Again. Is this the only game in the AppStore where you have to pay $100+ to actually complete the game? Its really getting out of hand
Figures I've seen in the past indicate way way more than $100+ to complete. I actually haven't played for 2 days now (first time since it soft launched) and I'm ok with it. The most recent changes by the Monkeys kinda made me lose interest. Motorsport manager is my go to game at the moment.
>.< We need racing games in the AppStore. This game just makes you empty your wallet, Asphalt focuses too much on multiplayer & theres a pay2win system, GT lacks tracks & cars & physics, NFS lacks content & gets repetitive really quick. I've always preferred playing a racing game on my phone rather than on console. They just feel perfect for mobile imo. Pick up and play, do a lap or two, & no virtual buttons. They seem like the perfect iOS hardcore games. Oh well, maybe someday we'll get a surprise & see a good racing game with a good payment model. I don't even care about getting my account fixed, I'm done with this game.
I gave up on the event today to win the R8 convertible, I couldn't be bothered to go past the race where you had to smash the back window of every competitor.. Plus I had fully upgraded the R8 with money until you needed to use gold on every upgrade and they were NOT the highest upgrades on the car! So they have made these special events pretty tough to beat if you work full time, you have to finish in the timescale given and the cars you win so far, can only be bought with gold after. The R8 convertible is 250 gold. The Porsche 918 RSR is 150 gold! I should also add I play this game on my Nexus 5, my 2012 Nexus 7 and my iPad Mini retina. And it plays the WORST on my iPad with constant stuttering in every race I play and that's with no background apps running! So the game isn't even coded very well for the latest tech. Luckily I also have Real Racing 2 HD on my Nexus 7. I would say roll on RR4 but that's not going to be out for a while and no doubt it will be the same rip off.. Plus EA and FR have yet to milk it's customers for F1 cars yet.. I actually do think about if it IS illegal what they are doing? They make an addictive game and then constantly change it to force you to spend money to feed your addiction? Basically it's a gambling game? Maybe... just maybe... Gameloft will make a GT Racing 3 game with fantastic graphics and even better handling physics and a premium price tag? They have still done it with Modern Combat 5.
I doubt that... EA & FM prints cash compared to Gameloft. They can license more tracks, license more cars, get help from expensive professionals all just with a snap of their fingers.
Yeah that's true. At least they have announced they are not going to reduce the winnings from the Endurance Kings Le Mans race, for now..
Really? Thats great news Idk why they were on the edge of doing that... Wouldn't it have been a little bit more logical to just lower the laps? Lol So just to get this right, they have only decreased fame rewards since I last played? Anything else? And by how much?
Do cars start to cost gold a lot more? Can I get reasonably far without having to pay for the good super cars with gold? Right now I have just brought the Shelby GT500
Yeah you can get pretty far. They're pretty generous about letting people progress without having to take out their wallet. But there is a premium roadblock later on, I belive its the Lexus LFA. Don't bother spending your gold to speed things up or for the premium upgrades. Save it for the premium cars/premium sales Also some questions : How long does it take to get a response from support? Anyone know? How much are the new cars in the latest update? Whats the reward for completing the challenge? What is this whole speedtv deal? What does the new agent do? What did FM nerf? Just fame rewards? And by how much? Did they finally fix the terrible multiplayer? Free cookie to whoever answers these questions for me
Are they ever going to add a custom match feature? So you can choose your track, car, amount of laps & bots. That would be cool
Yeah that would be cool, but I doubt it. You'll easily be able to set high # of laps & low number of bots, making it easy to grind for R$ and fame.
There could be a limit for the amount of bots, or for different modes. Such as 16 - 22 for a cup, 1 for head to headand so on, there could also be a limit and a minimum for the amount of laps for each map, considering that some are extremely large there could be only 1-2 laps max on those tracks.
Yeah thats true I guess, but there would be really no point in having that feature if you're limited to just that. Its just a complicated feature to deal with for a freemium game like this. The last thing they want is to make it easy for players to grind in the earlier stages of the game. And for higher level players, theres really no point considering there are other races with a much larger payout in the campaign. And plus you won't be progressing in the campign, so you won't be able to buy new cars. You'll just waste your cars condition. I see where you're coming from, but its really just an unnecessary feature that probably won't get used at all or get used too much as theres too many negative factors in our case & FM's case
I have a feeling that this might be a precursor to reducing the fame needed to level up, because the huge payouts from the Le Mans events were disproportionate. I think that would be a good move because I would much rather be able to choose from a number of events when grinding for gold rather than just the one. Obviously if they don't reduce the fame needed to level up then they're just killing fame completely. By the way I think they already have (reduced the fame needed for levelling up) - a little bit anyway - because while it used to take six wins at the Le Mans to go up a level and now I think three or four runs does it. I am so close to completing this now, with the possibility of saving for the discounted 2014 Porsche leaving me only the Veneno and Bugatti left to get of the expensive gold cars (I am disregarding the Toyota Hybrid because the price for that is simply obscene.
