All upgrades tier 1 exhaust tier 2 and fully repaired. I spotted my required lap cars on fifth lap of race, final bend before finish line.
True but there is damn good money in those pre le mans event races, even if you dont qualify farm'em!
How did this happen? I have the car before the events are over. I think it a gitch. Didn't use gold to get it.
I thought this one was going to be really tough but on my third try I managed to get through T1 with just a minor side swipe of a couple cars. I kept going hoping the hit was so light it would be overlooked. And it was. I got the event completed even though I did tough a few opponents cars lightly.
So far the other lap an opponent race was the hardest one to finish. I had to run it offline to even have a chance. I hope I can do that this time too.
Well I ran the stage 10 lap an opponent race at Indy twice now. Once offline and once with TSM opponents. Offline I had no chance as the cars are so fast I never even saw the last place guy. Online a missed him by about 2 seconds. I ran the 919 stock so I'm upgrading 4 areas to level 1 in hopes I can find a few more seconds without completely breaking the bank on this car I may never win.
I never even got close on this one.. Paid my 30 gold and moved on.. Then the last event is a 4 lap night race at Le Mans..Awesome. Completed all challenges and won 30 gold..
Yeah same here. Couldn't even see the guy in lasts place, worst of all I hadn't even upgraded my porsche once.
I may just do what you guys have and pay the gold if I can't get this one after a couple more tries. I may have just gotten lucky with the field of TSM drivers it selected for me because one of them was a pretty slow driver that I almost caught. I don't want to spend a lot more on upgrades for this car because I also don't want to spend a lot of gold skipping to the end to win the car. I started this journey never expecting to actually finish it figuring there would be some events I just couldn't beat. I'm excited to have gotten this far and may spend some gold to get a little farther but I've gotten used to realizing that parts of this game just aren't going to be achievable without big gold expenditures. I'd rather save my gold and buy the 911 RSR to complete the Porsche series than spend a lot of gold to get the 919 and then never be able to use it because I can't unlock the series it's in.
Upgrade your car folks! Don't make the same mistake I made lol. Finally reached 220MPH... Tip: don't let go of the gas on that first corner leading the first long road, and dont let go of the gas till you hit the wall!! Barley made it to 220 lol literally right before I hit the wall
Todays event, 7 parts. If your upgrade shy on your 919 and having problems. Airplane mode, manual date/time and farm these races. Really nice pay here. pt1. 220mph+ on le mans, 2 lap cup. 69k r$ for win against default ai. pt2. drive 6 miles on le mans, endurance. 13k r$ for win. pt3. no collisions allowed, le mans 1 lap cup. 17.5k r$ for win. pt4. overtake 8 opponents on le mans, endurance. 14k r$ for win. pt5. do not go off track, le mans, 3 lap cup. 17.5k r$ for win. i had to do this one twice, there is no notification for leaving the track and unlock other tracks in this game there are fully paved areas that still count as off track despite not slowing you down. pt6. finish 3rd on le mans without going off track, 3 lap cup. 28k r$ for a win. Will post pt7 once I get to it. I have run pt6 11 times now, every time it says I went off road. my advice : if you plan on upgrading your 919 at all, farm the hell out of pt1. it pays amazingly well compared to all other parts of todays event and its really pretty easy staying under 220mph. Oh and do plan on upgrading the 919 today. I am 9/23 upgraded and on every straight away the opponent behind me closed about 70yds distance to me.
I am thinking for parts 5 and 6 you may not be allowed to put even one tyre off the track. Edit: nope I was incorrect. A tyre off the road is okay.
What happens if you skip goal 5 and 6, can you still get the Porsche 919 free if you complete the rest. I'm struggling with goal 5 ran about 20 times with my r18 tron. Also my 919 is frozen on servicing complete. I can't use it
Finally got part 6. I found if I didn't get the start correct then I would kill the game and try again. It took me quite a lot of tries repeating the start but once I was on open track it was just a case of being careful and staying in 3rd place. Plenty of time to get into 3rd so no need to rush it. Part 7 is just a standard elimination which is much easier than parts 1-6. 40 gold reward. I'm loving these increasing gold rewards! I wonder what is in store for the final day? Will it be even tougher? Can't wait to find out.
Today's challenges were a pain in the ass... Finally got through them though. Looking forward to the finale
Parts 5 & 6 for me.. A pain in the butt when the AI force you off track... Finally got there though.. Makes the Elimation (part 7) seem easy.
A hotfix went out late this morning that fixed part 6... and introduced a new bug for part 6 heh. Yes you can now finish part 6, early this morning the code was screwed up and you couldn't. The new bug though? Folks on myrealracing forums are reporting that if you get in to 3rd place and then quit the race, you get credit for finishing in third heh.
