Today's events are the first that feel like they could possibly not be do able by the end of the day due to upgrade timers. Tip : upgrade focus if necessary on anything that increases top speed and acceleration, will need it for the 215mph challenge on the Le Mans course. Also, if you read this and are not the best of drivers and still worried about making the goal today... There's always air plane mode and... Manual time control... -whistles, wanders off-

I've been really enjoying this series and these events but have been waiting for that day when the cars will need massive gold upgrades to win. At that point I'll likely be out as I don't intend to waste all my gold trying to upgrade a car. Up to now I've only had to use airplane mode a couple times to win. The worst event was the Brands Hatch event where you had to lap a car in 5 laps. No way I was ever going to do that against the TSM drivers. It was pretty easy against the offline AI. Really liking the 919 in the Day 7 events. I assume that this is just a loner car and I won't be keeping it unless I fully complete every event. Sadly I doubt I'll make it all the way to the end but it sure has been fun trying.
No IAP spending requirements in this Le Mans event so far. Just 12hr upgrader timers on the 919 heh. Anyone actually know what happens if we don't complete an event before the end of the day it unlocked?
I'm up to date and completed all the days but I notice yesterday that I've been offered to buy the Porsche 919 hybrid for 950 golds coins, is this the same with other people? I can't afford it, so I'm waiting to complete the days and get it free.
I've had it available for 950 coins since it was added to the game.. I noticed last night after completing the events, I still had the 919 and was able to race it in the series at the end. But this morning it's locked off again( unless I buy it for 950
I started this series a few days late so I was several days behind for a while. You could start the entire LeMans event today as all the previously unlocked events are open for players to start playing. The question is, will all the events become locked after the race? I'm trying to stay up with the events but it sounds like it would be really tough to upgrade the car and finish before the thing expires.
I had sooo much trouble with the time trial - I had forgotten you could skip a race with gold in this series - doh!!! Skipped it for 10 gold, then won 10 gold for completing that part of the series, and won the first car. Hopefully I will have enough time to complete all the races. At 58%, but just started the next series of events.
Todays event is lengthy. 7 parts, half of them have 3 courses within. Nothing epic though with the exception of another beat your own time trial duo. First time you time trial is in part 3 or 4, dont recall but take your time and add to the clock a comfortable amount. Part 7 simply puts you in a time trial again to beat your old time. Three days left... -cracks knuckles-
Just used the Porsche 919 in the series under the vertex one. I just unlocked the Audi E tron, for... Wait for it... $3,200 000.. Delivered in 1 day and a few hours..
Yikes! I'd really like to complete the LeMans series and get the 919 but truth is I'll never use it again. I've unlocked the Vertex series but haven't gone very far because I don't want to advance it and miss out on opportunities to get the other cars in the series at reduced showcase rates. BUT, those cars all cost ridiculous amounts of gold so I don't ever see myself having enough gold to buy those cars even with the discount. Too much of this game is locked away from me behind lots of gold costing upgrades or cars. With the pricing of the IAP I won't spent any real money on gold until those prices come down so I'm just cruising through the game casually as the mood hits me. This LeMans event is great as I get to race new cars and tracks. Hopefully they will fix the IAP pricing someday. I'd most definitely spend around $20 on this game if it would net me the rest of the cars and upgrades I need to finish it. But right now $20 gets me nothing more than a few extra minutes of play time.
Yeah, I had done a lot of farming for R$ to save nearly $4,000 000 to have enough for the Audi. Without the absurd requirement for Gold, this game would be completable.
Thanks so much for the time trial hint. The only other type of race I've had trouble with was the elimination one where you couldn't go off track or hit another vehicle. I bought $5 worth of gold and skipped that one, and got my gold back right after anyway (but now I have a buffer if I get another tough race). Unfortunately, now I can't race anymore until I get home from work because I forgot my charger at home and raced too much!
Hmm, so I raced the 919 in the series last night and I managed to unlock the Audi E Tron, now I can't race the 919 in the challenges without purchasing it for 950 Gold! I can race the Audi but I'm having difficulty on the Lap a car challenge at Indy.
Today events, 7 parts but only a single race in each part. Today is all about proving you can handle problems on the race so there's races where you can't exceed certain speeds, races where you can't touch anything, races where the entire HUD is gone, fun fun heh. 3 is particularly harsh, the brandy map (city) endurance with zero assists. 4 wants you to lap an opponent. No time trials though.
