This sad Canadian can't even find the game to try it out - and in a few minutes, it will be two hours past the normal release time for new games where I am.
MrAlbum your posts are gospel! I'm happy to answer questions on the game but theIAP stuff is getting old. Yes it's a pain but such is life. There is fun to be had here and while waiting for our collective oil to be changed we could possibly start a new "Dear Firemonkeys" thread with some more structured criticisms. We're all gamers here
Cleaned up the thread a bit. If you want to flame, head here- http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=178192 Otherwise let's try to keep this a bit more about actually playing Real Racing 3 rather than how much you do or don't hate free to play games. Thanks!
I don't think it is right to put all the good posts here and the negative ones in a place where no one will see them. But anyway, carry on.
There are plenty of negative posts still in this thread, the catch is they just directly pertain to the game rather than how much people hate free to play, conspiracy theories about the media being paid off, and oodles of other entirely off topic things.
This thread. *facepalm* You're one heck of a patient man, Eli. Shame that this won't be the last of it. :/
Well, I am still looking forward to trying the game no matter what anyone says, but gadz, good luck guys.
Well, number 5 in the free charts in New Zealand. And number 45 in the highest grossing. After roughly 18 hours. That's not too shabby at all. It looks like it will be the most successful racing game ever. Didn't check the other two stores but I'm sure its around the same. I'm actually glad Firemonkeys are going to have huge success, they're a great developer. (Please don't flame me on this, I'm only a fan of the dev, that's surely okay)
Good: Even better looking than RR2 Sense of speed is more believable Physics is a bit better, FR and FF cars do feel different in handling Tracks are more fun and harder Bad: No more party mode and the mirroring effect has worse frame rate than NFS:MW Game modes are of nothing new AI seems to beef up automatically when you have upgraded and/or return to a race once more (well it goes either way) Ugly: I appreciate F2P, e.g. Temple Run 2, but the model used there is all wrong...
