Universal Real Racing 3 by Electronic Arts

Well , I'm afraid later in the Le Mans where they might start requiring me to use legend of elite level cars. Which I'm still at amateur.

 

There was a movie on netflix a couple of years ago that was really cool about this 24 hour racing tournament, called Truth In 24. I got it free through itunes and really thought it was worth watching.

 

Yeah fantastic film.. Pretty sure there was a second one made too.

 

Today's requirements are cookie cutter with the exception of part 2 of 3. No off road and no collisions endurance. Off-road requirement is just like time trials, lienent towards a wheel or two. No collision, if you don't here a awwwwwww when you tap a car, your good to go.

 

Nice game but from my perspective financial model is too strong isn't it?

 

Ah i do hope not!! I've just finished Amateur myself, otherwise looks like we are both screwed if this is the case

 

Maybe tomorrow will be Le Sarthe

 

Hopefully! I am still stuck on the lapping challenge. Need to wait till my lambo is done servicing now I guess I'll give it another shot in the morning

 

Yeah I used different cars for different challenges, luckily my Lamborghini had just enough left to use for the lapping challenge.
Really enjoying these challenges, I like the storyline aspect.

 

Today gave a free car if you don't own it, Porsche 911 gt3 cup if I recall correctly.

 

Yeah apparently every challenge day gives you a free car. I think yesterday's was a viper

 

Ah that's cool. It means even new players get an opportunity to play the event all the way through.

 

Finally completed the lap challenge. Tip: play the race with airplane mode on. The AI cars are so much slower than the TSM cars

 

Good tip - I didn't think of that. I tried it successfully in the Dodge Viper while the Lamborghini was being repaired. Thanks.

 

Just noticed, you dont get to keep the free porsche beyond completing todays event. Not sure if when I do eventually unlock that porsche if it will have the upgrades I tossed on it or not. hrm.

 

I did get to keep the Viper after the second day of challenges but lost the upgrades. Still, it was much cheaper.

I hope we get to keep the GT3 as well.

Warming, if you earn the right and buy one of the other cars, you instantly lose access to the Porsche and all your upgrades to it. I was half way thru today's events when I had enough saved up for the viper. Hit buy, Porsche greyed out.

I brought that car yesterday and it was grey out so I couldn't use it.

 

Thats a bummer... A bug though. Contact their support team. I am sure they wont hesitate and give back the car or money.

The new track is awesome I love playing in is Forza 5 to see how fast my car can go and now its in this! I can probably noe get some of the speed achievements

 

Yeah loving it! My big problem is picking my braking points at the chicanes, I seem to keep missing them, and brake really late, or then I'm too cautious and brake too early the next time.
