If I remember correctly, if you go to the store it shows down the bottom right which car is on sale..
Yeah, as GPS says, it shows up when you go to the plus cars icon on the top and I. To the store. On the bottom right but obviously it needs to be connected to have it appear there, I don't think it does if you're offline. The survey thing is taking up its usual space in the menu for me at the moment and I just checked in the store and its not where I expected it but I probably own the car that is on sale so that's probably why it's not there for me right now. Normally when its blank I just check the real racing Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/realracing and check the posts by page and its normally the most recent post by them. I know its a roundabout way and you have to be online for as well but its a handy backup method. Ah yes, the ads. In other games they have caused me a lot of problems with crashing and freezing up. One in particular wouldn't work at all for me at times because of them. Luckily I've had no problems with them on this one yet and have sorta accepted them despite the enormously expensive iap. And yeah, iap to remove them would be some thing I'd be on as well. I suspect it won't happen though considering the daily/monthly user numbers. It has to be a decent revenue generator for them (not great but decent) and I suppose it at least gets them revenue from those unscrupulous ones that have hacked the game to death. More robust security would be a preferred option though. It always amuses me greatly when hackers are stupid enough to post screenshots on Facebook (or anywhere) showing their hundreds of thousands of gold coins and hundreds of million of credits. They really are just not very clever because surely they get a ban afterwards. Hopefully anyway.
I don't recall seeing any pop up ads in this.. Wierd.. I think you are right with being connected to see the car on sale when looking in the store, I don't think it's there when you're offline.. Also, the wait to drive the Porsche 919 is insane.. Really looking forward to driving it.
I'd love to have a full premium RR3 app, without ads nor IAP's. Hacking is boring (if you can afford everything, what's the real objective?), but 100% completion with such a F2P model is impossible (20,000 worth of coins to achieve all cars and upgrades? Crazy...). Asphalt 8 monetization is much better IMO.
I'd have to agree with all that Hate them hackers and ads in this serves as an example of how they contribute to ruin it for us legit players. I'd calculated about €4000 as the completion number though, not the number you mention, which is still phenomenally crazy. And, yeah, A 8 is far superior in that area and far more balanced towards the player. Their not even comparable. I do have great fun with it as well. I've a feeling I'll never tire of it. @GPS. I got to race the Le Mans track in the game a few days ago. You're gonna love it. It's genuinely amazing. All long straights and sharp chicanes so top end speed is the thing but the track is a technical masterpiece. Genuinely an exciting track, amazingly detailed and amazing on a device in your pocket. They definitely have some seriously talented people developing. Definitely my new favourite track. I have no doubt but that you'll love it. If only multiplayer worked as well And how are you not seeing ads? I get banner at race loading and full page at end of race. Ah, doesn't matter really but I would have thought any iap would be enough. They don't really bother me anymore as they are just there and then gone so tapping an "x" isn't really anything to get bothered about.
Yeah I do love the Le Mans circuit, can't wait.. It sounds awesome. This is an amazing game for a device, as you say, that fits into a pocket.. Very close to console quality. As has been stated many times before in different ways, the monetization of the game is the killer.. Especially when you see the figures written down and realize the actual cost to 100% finish, which I shall never do. I would love to complete it fully, but unless they tire of eeking out every dollar and make all the IAP cheap, or do away with it all together, it ain't gonna happen. I do love the racing though!
So I am saving up R$ for upgrading during the Le Mans event and also to buy the new Audi. I am about 90% through the game and the only cars I don't have cost mega gold (Agera R, Porche 2013, Lamborghini Veneno). I choose not to pay real money for this game. I wonder how others are saving R$ - any better suggestions? This is my routine (at most every 4 hours or so) if I am doing no other racing: Accolade Open using the BMW ALMS upgraded to 14/15 (I used some gold to do that) Event group 22 Melbourne 4 laps. About R$18k. Same Melbourne race again. This puts my car health barely into the critical zone. Event group 22 Suzuka 5 laps. About R$35k. Service the car. GT1 Grand Tour using the Lamborghini upgraded to 18/20 (used some gold again I think) Event group 22 Melbourne 6 laps. About R$23k. Event group 16 Mount Panorama 5 laps. About R$32k. Service the car. Supercar Elites using the Koenigsegg Agera upgraded only using R$. Event group 22 Melbourne 6 laps. About R$26k. Event group 20 Spa 4 laps. About R$33k. Service the car. With the daily bonus I only ever race Accolade Suzuka. If the BMW is at full health and the daily bonus is due then I turn off wifi before running the game, run the two Melbourne races and then turn on wifi again. At this point I get the daily bonus and then run Suzuka. If I get the free Manager I only ever use him at the same time as the daily bonus at Suzuka. These bonuses stack so I can earn about R$135k for this race. This only happens around every 3 days.
Today i got 540100R$ from last race endurance kings (10 rounds Le mans 24 hours) 10x14km almost 30 min race.
Woh! Does that mean if you used the daily bonus and manager in that case you could have earned R$2M? Crazy.
So... How am I supposed to know how much to save up for vehicles when they unlock at discount price if they have no price tag in the store or in the series they unlock in?
Oh dang! I'll definitely start farming that when we get the porsche I'll be racing all night right when the event opens up!... Oh wait, timers... Yeah Edit: sick event!!! Different from the past ones and has a little beginning hype! Wont spoil anything though Time to listen to a podcast while racing for a few hours Edit numero dos: huh... Or not. You can only play 2 events per day. Which is a good thing IMO
It looks like we will get some new races every day for the next 11 days. I presume each day will use higher level cars. This makes me a little bit worried about the final day. The high end cars have long upgrade wait times - some as long as 48 hours. Perhaps to be safe I should fully upgrade all my high end cars before then. It would be a bit sad to fail on the final day.
Yeah it got me a bit worried too as well. I'm not spending any R$ until I'm completely done with the races. On a side note, it looks like we'll be able to try out the track tomorrow
Fingers crossed! Although(I forgot to post it)I did two multiplayer races at the Le Mans Curcuit last night. So you may be able to have a run there.
Hmm haven't really played the multiplayer ever since the introduction update to it. Man it was terrible lol. Is it smooth now?
Not really.. I still don't like it, it still seems pretty unbalanced and people are still cheating by cutting some parts of tracks.. Latency is still a big issue too.
Oh we could just keep using gold to by our way to get the 919 through the stages of Le mans. Not all of us are that far into the game...
Sorry but I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying you don't have access to the cars in the series? I have been lucky enough to play this from day one, before they locked of cars and placed PR requirements. I for sure wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am now if I had started later.
