The Audi might be buyable, but if we look at other past high end vehicles I bet the upgrades are gonna be insanely expensive.
When I try to race in the online multiplayer, when I press play now, it always says "failed to find players." My internet connection is very good so that's not the problem.
I've been getting the same message for a couple of weeks now.. It still connects at times, but mostly I get the error can't find players message.
I deleted this f... Game. To get to the new added car classes you have to complete too many competitions. I don't want to play the whole day this game. It's a mobile game damn...
Can anybody kindly confirm that this game cannot be played offline anymore? I got a 2mb over the air update this morning (29.05.14) and since then i can't enter a racing after selecting an event and a car. It simply tells me that it cannot connect and pushes me back to the menu. If i turn on 3g it functions normal. Secondly, hunter events cannot be completed with 1st anymore as a certain bug elongates the timer before the race pushing the slow Nissan car you are chasing farther away. Hunter events that i completed with 2nd position before this little update are now ending with 7th position. This is quite weird.
I tried turning airplane mode on and was kicked off too. I turned it off and got the "downloading track" message in the image attached when entering the race. I hope it doesn't consume too much data, because all this "always online" trend kills my monthly GB in very few days... I think I'm going to stick to Asphalt 8 instead...
Well i will cloud save and redownload it when i get home and see what happens. I noticed lot's of 1-star review on the german appstore after this lemans update. Many people can't even start the game anymore. Mostly people on A5 and A6 chipsets. Luckily enough, i keep a backup of every version of the game since 1.1.2 in anticipation of this type of move. Once F1 Cars are added, I'm finished with this game since F1 Races are my favourite type of car race.

Just tested and I am not seeing any issues whatsoever. I launched the game whilst connected, played a race, then switched to airplane mode, and played another race(different car and track). I then closed the game, disconnected from the internet, re launched and raced again without any hassles.. Sorry you are having issues, hope you can sort them out.
Just ran it myself as well and not having any problem playing campaign offline. Tried it three different times from a new launch, once while connected. When it was connected it downloaded once of those hot fixes but I am pretty sure that was tied to locking the 919 until the event rather than anything else as it wasn't meant to be able to buy until after the event. So not Internet only related but might be part of the reason the game won't work offline for you right now. Try opening when online initially and letting that download take place and then try going offline. That's the best I can think of right now which would save a delete and reinstall but ultimately that's probably the best route to take anyway.
Thanks Rip and GPS for the insight. At least you have now confirmed that it still works offline. Sorry for any hysteria i may have caused. I launched it again and it's trying to download another 2mb of data while already in-game proper but since my 5gb prepaid data plan has been used up, my ipad is running on 56kb and can't download the file. I will just delete it and download a fresh one once home and see how it goes.
Ah, you've hit the nail right on the head there. The game is detecting the auto download thing and because it can't download it or only partially download it, it's bouncing you back out because of it. You should be cool once that download completes when you're on your home wifi. It's just causing a conflict because its continuosly re-attempting to download it and "confusing" the app. Edit. I think you're problem is the same VBF. So I'd advise the same. Just let the that hot fix update complete when you're on a network and you should be cool again as well. Let me know how ye get on and I'll see if I can source another solution. It'll probably end up being delete and reinstall if the above doesn't work but I'll keep an eye out for another easier option.
Yeah, I'm sure it's the game trying to download a hotfix, update, new track (with a new time of day I haven't used), etc. In fact, all the loading screens and sometimes in the menu, the game is full of ads, so it might be just the game trying to show a new ad. I wish there was an IAP to remove ads...
Forgot to mention this a while back ago. Is anyone having trouble finding which car is on sale? The last couple of cars that were on sale didn't show up for me on the menu. Some of them did have a pop up when I completed a race though
