When it comes to time trials, do you guys have a particular strategy? I think I can be pretty fast, but my times are always a few seconds more even with the same 100% updated cars...
I am slower in time trials usually, cause my focus is more about not putting a wheel off the track, and completing a run, rather than flat out and potentially sliding off and aborting the lap. No strategy really, just work out over a few runs where you can go a bit faster.
I usually try to cut corners as much as possible, leaving two wheels on track and leaving the other two off track. Luckily theres no speed penalty for having more than half of the car off the track. I also try to give me car little to no gas or breaks while going around corners, allowing me to go around corners as fast as possible. When goin up/down a hill I break later/earlier as well. I use Wheel B controls to have as much control of my car as possible (I find it quicker to slide my thumb rather than tilt my iPhone). I also race against other people's (usually top of the LB) ghost to see where they break and where they accelerate.
I actually didn't think this one was too bad.. Except for the 2014 Porsche RSR.. Having said that, I only have enough Gold for the KTM (just) not sure how I will ever earn enough for the remainder
So anybody has been playing with the new open wheelers series? How are cars' performances, I'm kinda busy with other series so I didn't unlock this yet.
I've played around with the Atom 3.5 and its a blast. I love the interior view in these cars (and the Shelby). The handeling does seem to be a little too much though. It feels kind of sensitive... Idk how to really explain it. Haven't played around with the other cars much though. I am not going to buy the cars that cost gold, I'll wait till they go on sale. Its a pretty cool update, I would say. I'm only disappointed in the fact that they added another 911 that costs a heck ton of gold... Guess they had no choice considering the game's sponsor is Porsche
I have a feeling there is a bug. I haven't been able to race the time trials at all cause it can't connect, so it wouldn't surprise me if the multiplayer is down too.
I just bought 1k gold coins for 17,99€ instead of 89,99€. Apparently, if you try to buy a car but you don't have enough coins (like the Agera R), you can get a big discount. This is something other users pointed out on Firemonkeys's Facebook page.
I'd rather pay for a car pack rather than consumable IAP's, but it seems EA doesn't want this for RR3. Pity... In any case, it's a good offer.
So the big discount on gold(as above) is one time only yes? Edit: just tested it and it's not a once only.
FREEMUIM CRAP. EA SUCKS. This used to be a good game. Then EA used the Midas Freemuim touch on it and basically pointed out their real motto: "We Want Your Money."
Yeah we all would've liked to have a premium game. But hey look at the bright side, they make enough profit to actually update the game with new cars, tracks, and plenty of content.
