I was wondering how you got the Ferrari changed. I must try out that vinyl trick, cheers for that tip. (I hope you changed that Ferrari back as well. Something about a pink Ferrari just seems slightly sacrilegious )
Also, theres a new code. Type in Sony test code and you'll get $100k and 20G I managed to make an awesome face on the hood of my porche. I love this new customization update! If you type it in to racing code, beside the cloud save, you will see It is a legitimate code and in no way a hack or mod or glitch or anything like that. Just similar to the birthday one recently or the Porsche one back when the Porsches series came in. It doesn't work for everybody but it is legitimate but it might be region based or some other factor which would explain why it doesn't work for everybody or every version of the game. I imagine it leaked out on Facebook or somewhere. Its not a whole lot and is just a small reward or some thing they had for a promo of something or other. @GPS, like that Bathurst shot, very cool.
Thanks for the head up! I thought it was related to a code, not the code itself EDIT: I was so amazed looking at the pics of the cars and the happy face on the Porsche that I didn't see the code and the result was on that post at the bottom. Doh! The code "50 years of 911" worked for me by rolling the date back to september 2013 in the phone settings, adding the code and then setting the date back to normal. The "birthday" code worked fine with this update.
I almost missed the code at the bottom too. But sorry about the wording in my post, it does make it sound like it's not the actual code lol.

There are some very interesting designs starting to show up I saw a Virage that could only be described as "distinctive". By the way the Vantage S seems to be the car for completing the new Aston series, it seems to be able to achieve a higher pr rating from what I've seen so far, just in case people want to conserve gold. In saying that, the Virage is the more stunning looking car and the gold from the code (thanks) and the achievements more than covered it for me once I had the 20% discount at first unlock. I've noticed a lot of handling changes as well in the game. The random tail outs were a bit too much (for me anyway, I'm sure others probably liked it) and were causing me to have half brake on because I was spinning out all over the place with no break assist (it turns out over 300 hours spent in it doesn't equal skill unfortunately) but I'm on full brake assist off now and enjoying it a lot more because the reactions seem more appropriate. There's seems to be a lot of tweaks and balances gone in to this update beyond the additions and overall I'd have to say its definitely one of the better ones. All that needs to be done now is do some more multilayer tweaks (which still has more than enough problems but is going in the right direction, not quite there yet but closer) and some sales on the gold. Some sales on the gold is probably more important really as the customisation is going to lead to people spending a lot more gold so hopefully some kind of random sales here and there will go a long way and get me to spend some more on it even though enough has been spent already. It's almost always the way I get iap in Gameloft games in recent times (who run a lot of decent sales and realistically the primary reason I've gotten iap in Blitz Brigade for example) so I'm gonna hope for it here as well.
Thanks for the tip on the aston! And yeah rr3 really lacks sales. I just finished buying some gold because i blew it all on customizations. Its my first time buying gold... Just realized how expensive this game is >_<

Wow, people really have taken to the customisation option. There's a hell of a lot of work going in there. I must try em out with some matt black paint schemes because my gunmetal grey repaints seem very boring in comparison to these pics that are being posted. I must say I do like Oscars's Mclaren but that ferrari of yours is quite nice also. Must check out some races you guys are I. To see what they are like on the track.
