I have the Pagani Zonda R from the previous series, but there's no competition under the name "Italian battle"...
The first 2 new series are "spirit of ferrari" (cars: 458 spider, 599 GTO and enzo) and "enzo ferrari triumph" (cars: only enzo). What are the other 2 series? I don´t see them.
Anyone else struggling with new update? Can't even launch game. Hangs at start screen. Tried rebooting. Nervous to reinstall without a backup at the moment
This game is so greedy, i thought of buying 10$ gold, and i will get only 65 gold, that is not enough to even get a basic gold based car. I have just started the game. This is not good. Oh well.
Yep. A very money grabbing game, indeed. However, if you don't want to 100% every tier, buy every car or upgrade to the max, you don't need any gold. I've seen people post about spending hundreds of pounds on this game. I don't see why you need to. But obviously people do and that's how EA make thier money. On a related note, have the cash rewards gone down with the latest up date? Anyone with imps?
In the latest update's notes the say you can win "huge prizes in cash and gold" (in the italian translation they used the word "colossal"), frankly I'm curious to see the amount of those prizes...

No matter how you slice it, this game is set up to get your real dollars, you cannot fully upgrade a vehicle without using gold and the higher the tiers you go the more it costs. I have spent real money on this, I justify it to myself with the fact that I play this daily, and have done since it soft launched in Feb. no other game on any platform ever as kept me coming back like that! IMO it is THE best racer on iOS, but the dev's have all but killed it with pushing for your dollar to the point where starting the game now it is almost impossible to reach the expensive cars without forking out cash. The IAP prices are rediculously high, and I am sure if it were cheaper to buy $ ang Gold more people would spend, it's an argument that's been going since launch.... I absolutely love this game, but not the way it's structured.
I don't like touch controls in GT2. I tried the game with the steering wheel input today and after half a dozen races I deleted the game. Too sensible for me. I even tried at 10% sensibility, but it didn't work, I still kept going from one side to the other by barely moving the finger. Maybe on an iPhone 5 it's better, but on a 4s sensibility is terrible: 1 pixel = steer a lot... :/
Agreed, the steering wheel is entirely too sensitive and it's fixed position is to far in on my ipad. Wheel needs to apparat anywhere I place my left thumb like rr3 and less sensitivity.
Actually ryan from gameloft mentioned in the GT thread that Asphalt 8 got more and more control options over time (having the steering wheel where you place your thumb i.e.) and he will forward the request to the developer.Shouldn't take that long until the option is there.You should post about the sensitivity in the GT thread if you want them to change something.
