Not much replay value? With 1535 separate races, I think there's lots of reasons to keep playing.

Enjoying the update but one thing I really don't like is that if you go off track in Time Trials your lap is invalid but you still lose the token or whatever it is called. Seems stupid to me...

I agree this is annoying - I think it's been introducing to stop people cutting corners in online Time Trials. One thing I've found which is quite frustrating is that this update has reset all time trials! so my 100% series are no longer 100% complete - I have to go back and do all the time trials again! One bonus of this though is that on series completion again you still get a R$ and gold bonus - not as much as before but still helps :)

Also dunno what they've done to the AI but previously easy races and now pretty damn hard!

Agree with the AI. Races I would win relatively easily prior to updating are now very difficult, although it's somewhat offset by the payouts. I just finished 9th in the final Suzuka race in Accolade open and the payout was $20 000. Which used to be the payout for getting 2nd. I read in their blog that the Time trials will reset with every update.

If you delete the app and redownload it, can you resume the game from where you left off or do you have to start over?

you have to save your progress on the cloud on the settings tab. when you reinstall it you can download your cloud progress and continue where you left off.

How much do you get for finishing the time trials for 100%?

So far the most I've seen is 3 gold and $3000.

That's pretty good and it adds up since there are quite a bit of series.

    Aaa ah

I hate this new feature. I have given EA a good amount of money and I feel like each update pushes my progress further and further back. Why should I be punished for cheaters? And pay for more time trial plays?! Bullcrap!

I personally thought this update is a massive step forwards from what the past updates had taken this game. I find the payouts for a lot of events much higher than they were previously. I like the crew idea.. And am pretty happy with Ferraris and the Curcuit de Catalunya.
I'm not huge on the Time trials so that's not a big issue for me, I basically just do them for completion.

I'm liking the update personally. I restarted a month or so back and am working back up slowly not wasting gold. I am about to start the V8 Naturals series after getting 100% on all the previous series'. I have one more race in Global Production Pursuit and am just plodding along till I get it.

During the week the races are clearly more difficult with this update but Saturday morning in the US seems like everyone else is asleep because I can blow through races I wasn't even close on previously. More aggressive drivers for sure. I think one of those AI cars just hates me...

Free Lexus IS 350 F Sport this morning was also pretty cool!

I'm going to keep plugging at the races I've already won, working my lines and wait till I hit $1M before I move on to V8 Naturals. The 427 Cobra killed me financially last time I got there.

As you can see from my screenshot...
    This is my story...
I have left to unlock and purchase the cobra 427, zonda r, agera r, and unlock the Ferrari series so I can purchase those as well. The reason I stall is to wait for the proper discount of 40% or even 30% so that my banked 977 gold coins is more useful for the entire set of premium currency cars that I have left to buy. Hopefully I make it.

Nice! So you wait to purchase those cars when they go on general sale from the game home screen, not just the 20% discount when you reach a particular stage in a series? Might be waiting a long time for that..

Well there's only 6 cars left to purchase and 4 of them is premium currency. Basically only 67 events left to complete and game is done.

I think I saw in an update description that the AI would be more intelligent, but I've never been run off the road as much in this game as I have been after this last update.

Also, I'm very annoyed that you can't change the FOV in this game because right now I have to squint to play:

Yeah the races are definitely tougher and I've seen names appear that I've never seen before so they may have tweaked the time-shifted player selection too. I've noticed aggressive pushing by the AI when coming off a turn and onto a straight. It's not like closing the door or blocking. It's trying to wreck you. Depending on the track, if you can get one side of your car into the dirt you won't lose much speed except on the very top end and the AI feels like it's done it's job and moves back to the proper racing line. You have to brake really early for the next turn though unless you can get around the AI and into your line. Has anyone looked at the data feed from RR3? It seems like it just sends down the lap times for each time-shifted player and then lets the AI navigate the laps but sometimes the way wrecks happen make me think otherwise. For instance, why would the AI bother calculating a wreck a hundred yards behind me?

I never race in the cockpit view because I don't feel like I can see enough of the track. When coming out of a hard turn I end up over steering and losing the line. Can someone with an iPhone 5 say whether or not they get a wider FOV?

    Features I'd like to see:

    - Drafting (based on drag coefficient of cars of course)

    - Push-to-pass or NoS

    - Car rentals so you can play in the big leagues without waiting to earn your way in. Maybe just for time trials and rental cost as a percentage of total car cost. So rent a Ferrari for 3 laps in a time trial for 5% of the total cost and 10% of total cost if you want to rent a fully upgraded version. Pay to repair it when you're done to keep everybody honest.

Gotta say, happy with some of the new payouts... This is with the 3 crew and 100% daily race bonus.
