If you are updating right away please provide screenshots for pricing of new cars, and the # of new series now available.
so crew members are hired for each race, as in one of the crew(the manager) can be hired to double your race win, another to double Fame and a mechanic to maintain the car so it doesn't require service( doesn't degrade). It appears that the first time you hire a crew member they are free, after that you pay gold, I'm not sure if after a certain period the revert to free again though. If Bryce from FireMonkeys is reading this thread it would be good to get info, as the FireMonkeys thread is AWOL.
Man, I keep looking for reasons to get back into this. It always comes back to the fact that they lock off cars with progression gates. If you were new to this game, and had any desire to race a new Ferrari, you'd be playing this for years before you could have the chance. I feel like I'm pretty far through the game, yet I'd still have to get 20+ trophies in about 5 different events just to unlock the change to buy one of these new cars. On the plus side, it looks like I might get some free bonus gold and money since the time trials reset, and many events are no longer at 100%.
Every time I try to select from the event list in the bottom right corner for where TSM friends have beaten me, the game immediately crashes. Anyone else having the same issue? I also have not yet seem a daily bonus notification.
Payouts have increased on some events! Yesterday with 100% bonus this paid me $34 000 and 3000 fame. Today I've raced with two crew members, one doubles the winnings, the other doubles the Fame
This game seems loke a constant stock market, generally with payouts going down, but good to hear of some positive changes in this update.
Yeah must say that so far my reaction for this update is Overwhemingly positive. With the last few updates this game had become so screwed down, but this feels like they've listened to feedback and acted accordingly. So far so good! Edit. It looks like the cost of upgrades is now a lot cheaper too. Color me happy!
I have been playing this game from a long time but never found a good forum like this! had a question to ask.......how does the friend bonus work?
You get a payout based on the friends you beat in a race( based on you GameCentre or Facebook friends. But once you have beaten them in an event you don't get the payout again
Thats true, as the fixed events are limiting the game too much. Would be nice if there is a Quick Race sort of mode.
Is it me or is the AI really aggressive now? First time, I've been pushed off the track and not to mention the AI fighting for pole position with each other.
Well I'm liking the new update so far - unfortunately I'm still working my way through the earlier series so won't get to play the new Ferrari one for ages! The crew idea is pretty cool - do the payouts only work for TSM friends? or just if you win the race against the AI? I guess it's a tradeoff whether to spend the gold to hire some crew members versus winnings. I'm thinking it would be best to use them on Endurance events where the 2xR$ would be much higher and the fame too. What do you guys think?
I think it's if you win the race, regardless of its AI or friends. I used it today on the GT1 race series 16 Bathurst with the Nissan GTR. I used crew for double winnings and double fame. I posted a screen earlier. Think I got 60 000$ and 10 000 fame.
