Yeah, it's free. I already had it myself anyway but it does apply to the carrera rs 2.7 which is normally 300,000 in game credits. Oh and the prizes for the raffle are very nice. Well worth a shot as that watch is very sweet. http://www.porsche.com/international/rr3-challenge/
The free Porsche is nice. It has 34 upgrades. What is the highest level of upgrades anyone has come across? 21 cars now! Almost to 22, as I am just a few tiers from the next Porsche.
Anyone got a list of where the best events for top income in grinding for each series? Please label the series name followed by the number of its event followed by whether its the 1st, 2nd or 3rd match. Eg. Modern Sports Classics; 20; 3
Cool, thanks for the heads up. I wish I saw this just a bit earlier so I'd have more time before the current 40% sale ended. Now, I'll have to play a lot more if I want to get in on it. I went into the 50 Years of 911 series with about $100k and the free car. By the time I got to the 911 Targa (1974), I didn't even have to think about buying it since it was pretty cheap. I'm 1 trophy from having the 911 Carrera 2 Speedster available for a discount, and only $8k from affording it. If I put in more time in the other series I have available, and if I can unlock tiers at a reasonable rate before having to wait for cars to be repaired, I might be able to get all the cars in this series by the end of the event. I know it's just simple math, but here's a list of the Porsches in that tier in the order you unlock them, followed by their price, and price with the discount. The 911 RSR (2013) also has the price with the current 40% discount: Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Speedster (1993) ($135,000/$108,000) Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 (1995) ($230,000/$184,000) Porsche 911 GT2 (2003) (120G/96G) Porsche 911 Turbo (2009) ($148,000/$118,400) Porsche 911 RSR (2013) (360G/288G/216G) I wrote these down after I bought the Tegra, so I don't have that price anymore. You might find this helpful so you know just how much you need to save up before hitting each car's tier.
If you can do well in the timed trials, you can get 5-7000 or so in each race. Times that by two or three and you got a nice chunk of change in addition to your other grinding.
Just make sure that when you reach the RSR and unlock it don't hit buy instantly. When it unlocks in the series it shows with the standard 20% discount. You have to exit out to the home screen and tap in the scrolling tab right at the beginning of the menu where it comes up and shows as 40% off. It's the difference between paying 460 GC or 380GC.
What factors are taken into consideration to earn you this much? Must you rank A? Must you beat 22 friends? More or less? What is the maximum? Must you beat your old time?
Beating your old time is the key. You get a level up, or something like that, bonus of 5000. I always found the key was to just take it easy and learn the track/car/whatever on the first time you race a trail and then beat the time incrementally if you're looking for cash only. Beating friends is also a factor somewhere in the algorithm but beating your old time is the only one that really matters.
What you said is impossible. I've beaten my own time and only earned $2000-$3000. Where is the remaining $4000 coming from? This would only make sense if you beat your old time as well as beat your friends best times to earn maximum amount. Will the highest income be based on beating 22 friends, fewer, or more? I'm looking for the best and highest paid way to grind. Is cup races or continuously beating your friends in time trail the best?
I think it's beating your time as long as you also go up a group on the leader boards. For me at times if I don't improve enough to jump a group. I'm lucky if I see $100
So you are saying if I'm ranked top 9000 worldwide and I beat my old time and my new rank shows I'm top 7000 then that will give me a huge chunk of $$ for each time I beat my previous rank and many others to go with it or do they have to be part of my friends? Why are the details of how to earn $$ not explained in detail in game.... As far as I knew the best way to earn $$ was doing cup races that have many laps. Today I learned I have been wasting time doing those races when I could have been aiming to beat time trial for quicker races and more $$...
In my opinion the cup races are better for earning, It's personal preference I think. My two faves are GT1 Grand Tour, round 16 at Mt Panorama, it's 5 laps and pays about $16 000 for the win, and then whatever clean race and Friends bonus you add. The other is Pro Am Supercar club, last round, Suzuka. It pays about $14 000, I think. My chosen race for the daily bonus is the GT1.. I usually get about & $35 000 with that it also gives you 3000 fame for the win.
3000 fame huh. That's good to know. I will grinding xp from that race. The only other way to get gold is levelling up. Free gold is becoming very rare.
So I ended up getting all but the last 911 in the new series. I might still try, but I miscalculated the discounted price of it, and I'm about 45G away from having enough. I might be able to pull it off if I can get a few series to their 50% or 75% marks, and level up once or twice along the way.
