I did a google search but no luck. Does your game lock up and crash if someone sends you a message via imessage? Seems to happen regardless if jail broken or not.
While you cannot fault FireMonkey for releasing more and more new content. Although a new track or two would be very much more welcome. I find the balance to be just shifting more and more against a regular player. About 75% of the new cars recently released are either locked or prohibitively expensive unless u want to pay hundreds of real pounds in gold. Every update and feature race is just annoying to see now as I know I can't ever get even close to it. New cars at 600g plus another few hundred to update to max with 1000g costing £70. Are they really rationally thinking that a single new racer is worth £150!!!! All I am able to do now is re run older races. I can not afford the sheer time and expense to upgrade. Given its one of the best, if not the best, racer in the platform it's such a shame they went with this crazy model and pricing. Just looking at my stats. I've earned 14m r$ and 1000g over 60% of the available events of which I can now no longer play further due to PR levels. I can't re-earn the same gold as most is from unlocks which don't repeat. I'm level 98 with 24 cars
Yup, whilst I love this game, it seems Firemonkeys has last it's grip on realistic pricing.. It keeps getting worse with each update... I am at 97% complete with $200 000R and 6 Gold, most of the upgrades are gold now and I don't meet the PR requirements for a lot of events without upgrades... I have hit a wall in terms of Gold...
I still get that real feeling of achievement when I unlock a new car and it feels noticeably faster than the previous and handles just the way I like, but then there's also the crushing disappointments of the costs of things and upgrades. As others have said, it's a shame that it's sliding the wrong way with each update, but I guess the profits are going the right way for them. Seems strange complaining about a game I've not spent a penny on but that's the mobile scene these days eh.
I'm same. Had lots of fun with this and I haven't bought IAP at all. And I feel bad for it but in return for a reasonable 'donation' of £ I expect some half decent in-game benefit. Don't wanna support a broken business model.
Just curious, but what are you spending your money on? Are you upgrading each car completely? Your level, earnings, and amount of cars seems way out of balance. For reference, and keep in mind I'm not especially good at the game, I'm level 68 with 37 cars, a little over $5M and 759G earned. I haven't purchased anything via IAP either. I suppose if you're a car nut, and want to experience all of the cars in the game fully maxed out, that's understandable, but you certainly don't need to get upgrades for everything under normal circumstances. In fact, I feel like you don't need to upgrade most of the cars at all, save for maybe the best car in a given series.
In some of the series since the PR was introduced you HAVE to upgrade to compete, and that usually involves using gold.
Well, today is probably the last day for RR3 on my ipad 3. I Remember all the flamewars on release in NZ. This game was the main reason I got a NZ account. Remember the crazy wait timing adjustments, and also remember the reduction of wait timers for the US release. Of course, there was the TA article which I got lucky enough to be in, and my famous call for a boycott to remove wait timers. Then there were the ten hate flamefilled threads after the original thread was seperated by what some claimed to be good vs bad or offtopic posts. Almost a civil war, but it settled eventually into somewhat of a compromise, significant reduction of wait timers, but still a freemium based game. Alot of solid gameplay, but many were disappointed by alot of the riff raff. But got alot of good game time, and the good parts of the game were great. But now with A8 out and Call of Duty Strike Attack taking so much disk space, and a desire to unlockedz Colin McRae, it is now time for letting RR3 go until I get a new ipad someday soon. Farewell, sad to read the last negative comments on the upgrades, but there were a lot of good times playing RR3. Thanks Fire Monkeys.
I cried. Yeah, those times when you can buy cars freely and cars weren't gold, and stuff, I almost loved RR3 last time.
I shall always remember the good times. Deleted. Signed for the last time, Connector President of the Real Racing 3 Loserz Club
I think I've had a great start with spending perfectly. No iap's done either. I own 60/69 cars that get me first place with any of the events I play with my best car for that event. I have 642 gold remaining with 9 events still remaining to be touched. I have 3 premium currency cars left to purchase, zonda r, agera r, and cobra 427. With 642 gold banked and 9 events still remaining to be touched I believe I still might have a chance to own all cars in the game. Maxing upgrades on cars is definitely impossible in this lifetime. And yes I have purchased the 911 rsr 2013. Once I saw it on sale at 40% discount and I had not even touched the event to unlock it then I aimed for it asap.
I'll be interested to see if you make it, I know the gold requirement on the 427 is about 450ish after purchase.. And thePR for the final race is 39 in that series... Good luck I hope you get there
I've got version 1.3.5 on real racing 3 and on settings there is a button that says 'enter racing code.' Does anyone know any codes to enter? Thanks
Apparently this is in conjunction with Porsche and they are announcing more info about it at the Frankfurt motor show. I'm not sure of how it will work and so far I can't find any other info.

One or two cars are upgraded fully but that's the exception I have some of the high end cars which can cost 1m R$ to upgrade. Probably bought a couple of cars I wanted and then find they're crap and waste of money. But I am where I am and that is pretty much stuck now
