When I loaded up the game today, there was some update downloading on it. I think the new cars will come with a big AppStore update, right? Did anyone see any changes since today? Also, I broke down, and bought the first Charger. That car is so damn slow, it killed me trying to get enough to get the R/T model... and that one's slow too! This circuit is probably the worst in the game, but I have this crazy OCD where I'll have to get them eventually. It's probably better to get them now, and not later when they'll feel even worse.
Can anyone report how the new cars are opened up? if there's a chance to get it right away, i'd like to save up some money before updating... but if it has to be unlocked after a certain other circuit, I want to know how far I'll have to go.
Feels tougher, difficulty been ramped up. A race I knew I could of won yesterday if it wasn't for need if repairs is got me a few spots down today. Prices still ridiculous, still need to have unlock requirements done before purchases as well. I've got 40+ cars but I may be done with the game. Didnt mind buying iaps here and there but the upgrade costs, gold requirements and so on are too much now. As its been commented before, the balance on iap is just not as freindly as it was in the early days.

There are 3 new cars... charger, charger rt and cobra Regular charger is 81,000R$, you have to win 13 races in the series with that car before you unlock the RT version The Cobra is 150g to buy but not locked Basically another 'meh' update ... difficulty is definitely ramped up ... suppose this is the 'dynamic difficulty' .... but yeah ... a race i can usually win for good R$ (my go-to cash builder racer) i barely came 3rd in my 1st attempt last night and i didn't feel i made any mistakes If this is the way it is now then my time with this is gonna be done quick .... i'm running out of things that i can buy because i have no series i can reasonably unlock without masses of gold Ahh well - I've had lots of fun with it and not acually paid a penny in IAP but i refuse to buy gold at the price it is now as i'd cost me a fortune to upgrade the 2 cars i'd need to do to open up progression.
I thought they said there were four new cars. Can any of them be bought at a discount? I guess the first in the series wouldn't be discounted, and the R/T would have a 20% off offer when you first unlock it, but what about the Cobra?
Just got 25 gold for returning to the game after 1 month of not playing. Interesting idea for those people grinding for the Agera which costs 800 gold. Don't play the game for a month and they give you 25 gold. Just thought people would like to know. Now got enough for the Cobra. Is it worth it?
Yeah, I had heard of that happening, my thoughts were along the lines of instead of rewarding us for not playing, they should be rewarding us for playing, the daily race bonus should be gold coins or leveling up should yield more coins. Not playing seems to yield one of the biggest gold coin reward the game offers.
I always kick myself when I miss one day and my bonus is reset. If you play consistently, and have a good track to do once a day, you can rack up money quite quickly. I agree, though, it seems like they should be rewarding players for playing more than those not playing. Another way to get gold is to have as many series at 100% as you can when they add new cars. It's not really a strategy, but it gives you another chance to hit 100% again for more coins. I have been working off a list of cars I made a couple months ago, and my progress has become a lot more steady. My list is basically a purchasing order for cars, so I don't miss out on a discount when unlocking a new car. It also helps to know how much money I need by a certain point. Also, if there's a car that costs way more than the others in the series, I can usually pass it up for the time being because it's also available in a much later series.
It's really not anything that could be useful to others. I typically delete cars from the list as I but them, and I don't have it blocked out with all the remaining cars either. It's basically just a visualization for me to know where I should be heading for my next 8 or so cars, and a list of the ones you can only get with gold, so I can track those as well.
