It looks like these are all 60's and 70's era, sorry I should have been more specific. Old school muscle cars
I'm particularly looking forward to the AC/Shelby Cobra. But the Charger also, just for some Bullitt nostalgia.
The 1970 Charger R/T could easily be my favorite car of all time. It's not, but it could be. Which doesn't make sense. Whatever. I like it a lot. Challenger too, so either one works.
I meant to say the Charger but Challeneger was in my head and got typed out for some reason. Which is weird as my Bullitt nostalgia needs the Charger and Mustang to stand up. Stupid brain, now I know how Homer feels most of the time. Mus be tired.
Are your winnings for replaying races based on which car you use? I played one race with one car, won extra winnings the first time I replayed a race today (for beating frinds), then just won normal winnings as I kept replaying it with that same car. Once I had to change cars to repair the first one, I made more winnings with a car with a lower performance rating the first race with that one. Just made me curious. If this is the cae, then I will keep switching out cars when I replay races to get more earnings.
The Charger looks awesome. Even the ones that are in the game look like fun... but seeing as they are only in that one circuit together, I haven't bought either. I'm hoping there's a sale on one of the cars in there, or they add them to other circuits to give me incentive to play it. On another note, i turned the brake assist to low, and it was almost like learning a new game. I know several people here might scoff at any of the assists -- and the auto acceleration, left/right digital steering -- but I'm not actually that big into simulation racers. Now that I've got the hang of it, I'm winning a lot more races. 30 cars in, and something like level 62. Not sure if that's good, but I still like the game, and still haven't felt the need to pay money.
Nice. And yeah, I turned off all assists and auto accelerate from the start. Can't stand them. I really hate that I lost my progress I was about 30 cars in a few months ago. Now I'm like 5 cars in.. Annoying.
How did you lose all your progress? I was probably going to temporarily delete this to install Asphalt 8, is there any concern to lose my progress? Thxs.
I synced my iPad to my computer and RR3's progress was gone. Dunno what happened. All the other apps were untouched.
I really suck at playing without assists, but I wanted to get the achievements for racing and getting first place without assists. I found an easier way to get them for those who don't normally play without assists (and therefore cannot win or do very well without them). Play a speedway race - there are less turns that way - if you slide sideways, release the gas for a second. The one I am finally winning on is the Head to Head race in tier five of Road Car International series with a fully upgraded Bmw Z4 M Coupe. The winnings aren't as good as the other speedway races, but there is only one car to contend with and be knocked around by.
I wonder if I'm alone in doing this, but I tend to hold off on unlocking/buying new cars a few days before an event ends. That way, I'll have enough money to get whatever car is on sale in the next event, or at least have enough of a start to get it by the end of that week. Unfortunately, last week's and now this week's cars are way out of my league, so there's no hope. And that leads to one of my biggest complaints about the current version of RR3: the artificial progression gates. It's like saving up for a nice car (in real life), going to the dealer, and them telling you that you have to buy a crappy beater first because you haven't been driving long enough.
